MAC Pleasure Bomb Lipstick

Riri Hearts MAC Holiday Pleasure Bomb Lipstick is one of three limited edition MAC Lipsticks ($16.50) that will launch in December with Riri’s MAC Holiday 2013 Collection.

This is a bright fuchsia shade that’s both popping and uniquely festive.

Take a peek!

Riri Hearts MAC Holiday Pleasure Bomb Lipstick is a matte bright fuchsia. I wouldn’t typically call it festive but for some reason the shade just feels like a funky Holiday color. It has some red to it with a cooler blue undertone. Again, hate blue undertones but this shade really does sizzle especially if you like your lipsticks loud. It has excellent color pay off and provide full color on a single application. The consistency is creamy but it felt a little bit dry (my lips are chapped so blame it on that because I didn’t experience any issues with Riri Woo and she’s just as matte as this) on my already dry lips so just beware if you are prone to chapped or flaky lips.

It wears like a boss! You can get fairly seven hours out of this naughty girl and she’ll leave a very nice staining effect once she wears away. During that wear my lips felt a little dry at first but the color didn’t migrate, flake, or feather.

MAC Pleasure Bomb

If you’re looking to make a statement this is the shade to do it!

You can grab it this December at and MAC locations when it launches with the Riri Hearts MAC Holiday Collection.

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. This color is right up my alley, so it has to be mine! The louder the better!! I wonder how long it will take to get it online this time . . .

  • Meg

This is the ONE thing I really need from the collection. Although I’m not sure I’m prepared to sit through another clusterf*ck like last time LOL. THREE HOURS in that stupid online waiting room just to get kicked off and by the time I got back on, the things in my cart had sold out. *shakes fist*

My secret to working with dry red lipsticks is to put a coat of the Fresh Sugar Rose lip treatment over the top of it. The rose color adds a nice sheen and it hydrates my lips while wearing it. I’ll put the Fresh Sugar clear over the top of lighter colored lipsticks since it doesn’t add any tint. I got the little Sephora duo last year with both in it and they’re still going!

might just have to get this one! do you not know the exact date of the launch yet?

  • Felicia

I’ve heard it comes out December 12 or 13! I thought I saw that somewhere online and a girl at MAC told me the same thing!
    Man, i NEED this colour

December 12 in stores. I think it came out on the 2nd online – it’s already sold out online, so head to a MAC counter if you want it.

  • Cindy

MAC announced today on Twitter that it will be online 12/5 and in stores 12/12.

Red is such a beautiful color on you! I don’t own any MAC lipsticks and I might give this one a try.

Flat out Fabulous is a bright plum…this looks more like a bright/rosy/fuchsia pink and I don’t see those same purple tones. I think it will obviously vary how it looks from person to person based on our natural lip colors so while I know they won’t look alike on me, they might look a bit more similar on someone with more pigmented lips like my mom. I doubt they would be considered dupes on any skin-tone, though…but I could be wrong 🙂
