Cargo Los Cabos Water Resistant Blush Review & Swatches

Cargo Water Resistant Blush Los Cabos

Cargo Los Cabos Water Resistant Blush ($26) is one of those blushes that I don’t really need because it’s so similar to colors I already own. But who can resist golden peachy gorgeousness?

I feel like I’m rushing away the Holidays with this one as it makes me thing of Spring break on a beach, sipping a tropical drink, lazing in the sun, and reading a good book. HOWEVER….I’d never DO any of that. I avoid the beach like the plague (I’m more of a pool girl) and sitting in the sun? Never happen! This skin won’t take to lounging in the sun, at least not without a heaping helping of SPF and even after that I won’t expose myself to that much sun in a single sitting.

So maybe it’s best to take home this blush and have a little tropical get away right in front of my makeup mirror!

Cargo Los Cabos Water Resistant Blush is a pretty golden peach. Yes, it is very much like my beloved NARS Orgasm but has a touch more orange to the shade making it a warm orange-y golden coral. The color can be applied sheer or full on for more pop! It’s the type of color that will work on a host of different skin tones which is why I adore it. On my it goes all golden subtle peach heaven! It isn’t too shimmery or sparkly and has a smooth, satiny finish that doesn’t accentuate pores or drier areas.

Plus it wears like a champ with a solid 12 hour wear without losing intensity or fading and looking as if I just put it on 11 hours after I applied it.

It’s a little pricey at $26 since NARS Orgasm is in the same price range but none the less it is gorgeous enough to warrant a purchase.

Loves it!

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. • Liz!

I have Cargo’s Water Resistant blush shade in Bali and I am absolutely obsessed with it. I wear it almost every day. It’s a beautiful pink with a nice sheen- not crazy glitter or shimmer, but it gives me a beautiful glow that doesn’t accentuate my pores. And it wears so well on my oily skin. It performs just as well as my beloved Tarte blushes. I can’t say enough good things about this blush, I have to try other shades!
