Sephora Luxe Anti-Bacterial Brush Set12

The Sephora Luxe Anti-Bacterial Brush Set ($60) comes with seven brushes that have actually been treated with an antibacterial treatment to ensure fibers are resistant to primary bacteria.

Ok, so does this mean I can cut out on my ritual of cleaning my brushes every single Monday night and laying them all around my bathroom floor on towels to dry!? I mean I’m already a little OCD inclined so I never miss a brush cleaning night whether I get in early or if it is a late night I make sure Monday I grab up a buncha of towels, snag myself some Solo cups, pour some Cinema Secrets Brush Cleanser in those cups, and go to town simply cleaning my gazillion brushes. I find the ritual very soothing and a little crazy.

I dunno about bacteria but the Sephora Luxe Anti-Bacterial Brush Set is a beautiful selection of brushes perfect for gifting yourself or another beauty junkie.

The brushes come housed in an elegant sparkle pinstripe pattern clutch with a magnetic closure.

You get seven total brushes which are made of synthetic with incredibly super soft bristles like Too Faced Teddy Bear Hair Brushes!

The set includes:

  • Brush Clutch
  • Powder Brush
  • Foundation Brush
  • Concealer Brush
  • Eye Shadow Brush
  • Flat Eyeliner Brush
  • Brow Comb
  • Angled Eye Shadow Brush

They aren’t full size brush handles but they are a super deluxe size so they are fairly close to what you’d get in a full size. The handles are nice and sturdy and the actual bristles are soft and shed-free. I’ve ALWAYS raved Sephora brushes as being nearly as good as MAC quality brushes and these are not exception!

If you’re looking for a cruelty-free selection of brushes that keeps bacteria at bay and does away with your OCD brush cleansing rituals this is a nice set to have handy.

It’s available now at Sephora and Sephora.com.

I need these! I am so bad about cleaning my brushes. *mentally adds this to wishlist*

I used to dry my brushes flat too, but I was always a little concerned about water seeping back and destroying the glue. I found this picture randomly one night and just thought it was GENIUS, so I do it this way now.

You can do it on any sort of railing – or even a clothes hanger – and alternating sides lets you hang a ton of brushes in a relatively small space.

THAT’S amazing! I’m DOING THAT! lol but I have too many brushes I’d need a few yard of clothes line for it 😀

You can put more on than you’d think! I washed 15 or so brushes last weekend and got them all hung up in about 18″ of space. As long as you alternate sides, you can stack them pretty closely together along the bar.

I have pretty much this exact same set of brushes from like 2008 (just different packaging slightly)! I use them EVERY day, especially the powder brush, and they are still going strong with no signs of stopping. It was my first set of good brushes and it was such a great investment.

I was eyeing these in Sephora yesterday actually but hesitated just because I knew nothing about them. Thanks for the review!

Interesting! And they’re very reasonably priced! I only wish they had a smudger brush in this set, to make it more complete for klutzes like myself who need one to reach into inner corners. I’m just wondering what the antibacterial treatment is and if it will run out/wear out/wash out with regular cleaning!

I bought the previous packaging of these brushes (red handles) and i use them every day and will be buying a 2nd set just because i love them so much and use them so often.
