Physicians Formula Nude Wear Glowing Nude Bronzer Review & Swatches
Physicians Formula Nude Wear Glowing Nude Bronzer ($14.95) is a new bare skin effect bronzer that Physicians Formula is launching for Spring 2014 in two different shades.
This is Physicians Formula customary seasonal bronzer release and supposedly has a bare skin finish that enhances the skin’s natural glow.
Take a peek!
Physicians Formula Nude Wear Glowing Nude Bronzer comes housed in a darling square compact that features a metallic brown and a dual compartment which housed the bronzer on top and mirror and brush located in the bottom.
You’ve already reviewed quite a few pieces of the Nude Wear Collection already for you and the packaging still impressed me. This is a really darling packaging. However, I will take a moment to yet again rant about the brush included as it is scratchy and sheds horribly. Sigh! When will they improve these brushes?
The powder inside is made up of four graduating tiles of color that go from lighter to darker with a golden sparkling over spray spelling out “Nude Wear”. The over spray swipes quickly away with the first use of the powder and does not run straight through it.
I purchased the Bronzer shade but there is a Lighter shade available should you desire. I find the texture very nice and velvety but also a but too powdery too which means it clings a bit to my drier areas. I highly suggest prepping well prior to applying for the best results as it does cling fairly obviously to dry areas and likely will emphasize pores as well. The consistency of the powder is very soft and it does blend easily however, the wear time is a little short at four hours. I think the powdery formula means that it kinda wears away quickly but oily skin might love this because it does have a semi-matte of a sort. It adds a very nice touch of radiance to skin and adds warmth and a glow. I’m not one for liking bronzers but a light dusting of this does look very flattering when applied correctly.
Physicians Formula Nude Wear Glowing Nude Bronzer is a little uneventful because Physicians Formula does this style of bronzer a lot just in different packaging. I will say the formula is a bit different from past releases though with a more buttery, velvety texture versus the thinner, silker one of past bronzers. If you find it on sale you might wish to add it to your collection to add a little radiance to your tired Winter skin!
It’s available now at drugstores.
