Physicians Formula Super CC Cover Concealer

Physicians Formula Super CC Cover Concealer ($12.95) is a new correct and conceal formula that addresses and corrects age spots, dark circles, dullness, uneven skin tone, redness, dark shadows fine lines, wrinkles fatigue, and dark shadows.

Earlier last Spring, Physcians Formula Super BB All-in-1 Beauty Balm Concealer launched however, this new formulation is more about correcting versus major concealing.

Take a look!

Physicians Formula Super CC Cover Concealer is available in a single Light/Medium shade which is a soft ivory with very light beige undertones. This a shade that won’t work that will work best for medium fair, medium, and lighter skin tones as it is sheerer so you’ll find it works good to color correct but won’t be pasty in finish courtesy to the sheerness of the product.

It comes in a twist pen with an attached brush for application which makes it friendly for travel and touch ups on the go. I like using it over my concealer and to contour with but you can also use it under concealer as well. It is not meant for use on its own due to the sheerer finish unless you’re only looking for lighter concealer coverage. Personally I need a lot more coverage than this provides.

However, a touch over my concealer brightens up my eyes, diminishes darkness that my concealer might not have addressed, and completes my entire look. I also like to use it in the space just about my cheek bones, right under my eyes, to create a bright contouring effect that gives my eyes a more awake appearance.

The formula is creamy with a satin finish that doesn’t crease into my finer lines or add dryness to the area. It blends fairly easily as well without tugging or dragging across my skin.

Overall, Physicians Formula Super CC Cover Concealer is a nice touch up tool for addressing redness on cheeks or subtle dark circles or shadowing on your face. It isn’t a full coverage concealer but does have nice correcting abilities to address minor facial skin and under eye problems. I like to use it as a brightening pen of sorts to brighten certain areas around my face and eyes up as it does an excellent job addressing problems like fatigue or dark circles that need diffusing.

The Physicians Formula Super CC Collection which includes a brand new CC Cream as well as this concealer will be available at drugstores shortly.

Oooooh…I’ve been looking for something like this! I need a cheaper alternative to the Estee Lauder brightening/concealing pen. I love the brush applicator for quick work touch ups, especially after I eat and somehow all the makeup has worn off my chin!!! I hate the $35 price. This looks like a great substitute. Muse, you’re the best.

I just moved from the Bay Area, CA to Monterey and I am having difficulty finding HE brands! I know this will not be as great as my YSL one, but I am willing to give it a whirl. Its a give and take in life…I get the Ocean, but not makeup lol. At least without a close Sephora and Nieman’s, Bloomies, and Nordy’s I can afford the ocean lol
