Olay Fresh Effects Deep Pore Clean Plus Exfoliating Scrub

Olay Fresh Effects Out Of This Swirled! Deep Pore Clean Plus Exfoliating Scrub is my new daily shower exfoliating cleanser, well, maybe not daily, can’t scrub my dry skin too much less it gets drier. But every other day? I got time for that.

Olay Fresh Effects Deep Pore Clean Plus Exfoliating Scrub is a cheap as chips ($6.99 baby!) exfoliating facial cleanser infused with White Grapefruit and Green Tea (actually there are two other to choose from too like Green Apple and Jasmine Tea or Honeysuckle and White Tea). It has a light citrus floral scent that’s quite pleasant!

This contains ribbons of moisture rich cleanser along with a gel swirl of exfoliating microbead ribbons. You know me and beads right? Hates ’em! So I wasn’t sure I’d like this but actually the beads are tiny scrubbing granulates with the texture of sugar or salt. This lathers up to a rich foam with a gentle, exfoliating rainy texture that cleanses and scrubs away dead skin cells as you apply!

It’s one of those daily facial scrubs you can feel comfortable using because it’s quite gentle and won’t over strip skin. I used it every other day in the shower and experience no problems with tightness after use on my drier skin. It whisks away dirt, oil, and gives my skin a nice deep scrub to refine patchy, drier areas. Likey! If you’re looking for a quickie daily exfoliating facial scrub that’s not too strong you should get on wonderfully with Olay Fresh Effects Deep Pore Clean Plus Exfoliating Scrub! It’s a not budget pick up. Tried it? Do share!

Pretty packaging gets me in the mood for summer. Had the original of this once, and really liked it. It was teal and white swirled, lasted forever and I loved how affordable it was!

Great! Just make sure not to over use it. And never do facial scrub if you have breakouts.

hmm I have an olay coupon for a whopping $2.00 off any one fresh effects product….. I think I might have to find this. Thanks for spending a little of my cash (instead of a lot like you usually do LOL).

I bought the Honeysuckle and White Tea about two weeks ago, and I absolutely love it! It’s not harsh on my dry skin – I’ve even used it with my Clarisonic, and it smells great. I might pick up the Apple one to put next to the tub!

I saw this when I was at Target the other day and thought it was pretty so I picked it up. I usually use higher end brands but my skin has been freaking out since I moved from HI to WA. It’s been peeling and breaking out, nothing’s worked. So far this isn’t hurting and while my breakouts haven’t really healed much it’s not getting worse. My husband tried it and loved it. He only uses drugstore stuff and found this much nicer than his usual Cetaphil (he likes the clear gel kind). He actually plans to switch to this stuff and I can’t say I mind as his face smells much better. 🙂

I haven’t tried this product yet but I am overall loving the Fresh Effects line! I’m slowly purchasing everything (as my local Walgreens didn’t have the full line so I have been drug-store-hopping LOL)

I tried the Olay Fresh Effects Deep Pore Clean Plus Exfoliating Scrub and did not like it at all! The scrubbing beads are so few and so soft that I don’t find it provides any scrubbing at all, very gentle. I love the Shine, Shine go away cleanser from that line. I really look forward to trying this, hopefully its a little less gentle than the other scrub.

I just realized I got my products confused! Oops! I do like the deep pore clean, I was thinking of the Bead me up scrub. Sorry 😛

I used this yesterday. I had gotten some acne after using the Maybelline foundation stick on my face. I diluted some tea tree oil and applied that to my acne. Then decided to shower and use the scrub in the shower. I woke up with some soft and clear skin today. I think I’ve found a winner for a scrub and will have to look into the other Fresh Effects products. I’m so acne prone and most face products just cause more acne (I’m only clear because I’m so careful with what I use & rarely switch things up).

Wow that article was very interesting, I had no idea how those beads were adding to the pollution
