Any Issues Viewing the Site?

Hey there!

Quickie question…I got a few emails from readers who had issues viewing the site. Anyone having any problems? If so please tell me what they are and what browser you are viewing in.

I’m trying to isolate the issue (it’s ad related I believe).

        Miss Muse, I forgot to say something. I was having problem with the site, I think months ago. At first, everything would be fine. I opened posts with individual tabs, then when I was about to view the previously-opened tabs, some would not load properly. Like it would stop halfway. I didn’t know what was really happening back then so I decided to give it time maybe it’d be okay.

    Hi Muse,

    I use Google Chrome, and the only hiccup I had yesterday was that the pages wouldn’t load when I clicked on the links. It wasn’t that it was taking too long to load, it was that it loaded only the background and top banner, but nothing else.

    It seems to be working fine today, though.

    I sometimes get a page where only the first post will load. I can’t scroll down or anything. Once I refresh, it’s perfectly fine again. I use google chrome 🙂

    by the way, i recently found your blog AND I LOVE IT. I literally read 50+ pages last week

    I’m mostly viewing it through the Bloglovin app when I click to see the full post. Some times it loads, sometimes it takes insanely long; other times it doesn’t. It hasn’t been happening to other blogs when I click for full post. Hope this helps!

    I’m using Google Chrome, and I’ve never had any problems with your site. Maybe it’s just IE users? 😛

    I’m that kind of followers that never subscribes but checks daily! Love your blog. Anyways I live in italy and read you on a Mac and kindle and both look great! Never had any problem EXCEPT sometimes the page goes blank and I have to reload – in which case it’s prob your server OR the fact I access you from a different country.

    Dear Muse, it does take longer than usual to load your pages but I love your blog and so it’s worth the wait. I use Internet explorer. The moving ads (this morning it was Geico,) slow my computer down.

    I’m taking my computer in for servicing soon and I will mention this — perhaps it’s something I can fix from this end.

    I’m not sure what clearing cache is, but i’ll google it and find out how to do that. thanks for suggestion!

      it’s just clearing up the temp files/history you download each time you visit websites/etc 🙂 you’ll def find a variety of instructions to clear it, it’s fairly simple!

    not sure what browser it would be, but I can tell you everytime I try to open this page my kindle crashes and restarts. EVERY.TIME. grrr.
    this makes me sad because I use my kindle every night and I can’t check your blog until I get to work the next day and sometimes the day goes by so quickly, I forget. boo. 🙁

      andrea, sorry, I actually don’t have this issue BUT if you turn off java this will help. I’m sorry about that!
