New Mini Covergirl Tru Magic

Covergirl Tru Magic Minis

If you’ve been to try out the Covergirl Tru Magic Skin Perfector Mattifier or any of the new Tru Magic products you can do so with the new Covergirl True Magic Minis. These new mini Tru Magic products are available at Walgreens for $4.99 on sale (regularly $5.49) versus the full size price of $10.99.

Each mini is available in the original Skin Perfect Mattifier formula as well as the Shimmer Luminizer and Bronzer Sunkisser. These weight in at 0.8 oz each versus the original .27 oz size.

This is a nice way to check the product out and see how your skin reacts to it without committing to the fuller size. It also makes for a nice way to travel with the product! I’ve likened the formula to Mally Beauty Poreless Face Defender but I must admit I do like Mally’s version best of all! Youngblood also makes a version called Anti-Shine Mattifier.

I haven’t yet tried the bronzer of shimmer but the Covergirl Tru Magic Skin Perfector Mattifier is kinda like having a silicone primer in a pressed powder format. It’s interesting to say the least. It blurs the appearance of fine lines and pores while perfecting your face.

Typically I use Mally’s version after I’ve applied ALL my makeup even color! Covergirl’s version is recommended for use prior to makeup but you can def swipe a little on after makeup. One would think it would remove color but it doesn’t it, it merely refines and perfects your look.

Anyway, the minis are available at Walgreens but I’m sure other drugstores will likely get them.

Anyone try the Tru Magic products?

Muse! Howdy! I like the option of a mini, for the same reasons you mentioned. I LOVE the Sonia Kashuk cream bronzer, but I will def give this a try simply for the price! Thanks for the heads up! Tu Amiga, Leslie

I just saw the mini version of the bronzer one attached to the new Covergirl bombshell mascara at CVS and contemplated buying it but I will head to Walgreens to pick this one up with a coupon since I don’t think I would like the mascara anyways. Thanks for the heads up!
