Revlon Sandstorm Super Lustrous Lipstick Review & Swatches
Revlon Sandstorm Super Lustrous Lipstick is one of five new shades that launched with Revlon The Legacy Super Lustrous Lipstick Collection. The collection features five repromoted and much beloved shades from as early as 60’s and into 2000. I can’t honestly say I’ve tried any of these shades in the past so its nice they reintroduced them for both old fans and new ones to enjoy.
I only purchased Sandstorm but my mate Dustin swatched and reviewed all the shades of the Legacy Collection should you like more swatches and thoughts. Or he has a video up if you’d rather see a video review.
Take a look!
Revlon Sandstorm Super Lustrous Lipstick is such a me shade. This is a warmer smoldering bronze with a good deal of brown. It does have a slightly frosty finish but nothing too dramatic. It’s a vibrant shade with excellent pigmentation and full opacity on a single application.
The formula is creamy, comfortable to wear, and has a slight sheen. Wear time is around four hours with minor fading at hour five without it migrating or feathering on my drier lips.
With Summer just around the corner this is an excellent shade to pair up with bronze-y looks. I’ve never actually owned it or even heard of it so it’s a nice shade to discover or rediscover if you’re a fan.
I believe these shades are back by popular demand for a limited time but don’t quote me on that.
Overall, I’d say Revlon Sandstorm Super Lustrous Lipstick was the nicest shade in the collection.
