Sleek Makeup CC Cream Review & Swatches
Sleek Makeup CC Cream gets a perfect Summer 2014 launch in four shades for those seeking a CC Cream at a budget price ($13.95). I was very impressed Sleek Makeup’s BB Cream so I was quite excited to receive their new CC Cream to try out.
Let’s take a peek!
From my experience with Sleek Makeup CC Cream the shades do run very, very dark so when making a selection please keep this in mind. This a radiance boosting formula that promises a matte finish with buildable coverage that contains Vitamin C and an SPF 29.
I find the texture to be a lighter gel CC Cream formulation that absorbs easily into skin with a slightly dewy finish that’s very lightweight. I don’t have oily skin but I didn’t feel this was terribly mattifying upon application however, it isn’t shiny, greasy, or oily so it should be suitable for a range of skin types. It absorbs very easily into skin and provides a second skin-like finish that melds with your own tone to even it out, brighten it, and create a very natural, fresh finish. Coverage runs sheerer at first application but it does build and I find it has a your skin but better finish. This translates as it won’t hide major ruddiness, dark spots, or blemishes and scarring. It will however, take your own natural skin tone and brighten it while evening it out and creating a very fresh look on skin!

It’s supposedly color adaptive however, I tried the medium shade and the color adapting technology didn’t quite work. However, the light version which was a touch too beige at first actually lightened up a bit when I applied on my face so expect some oxidation (a good type of oxidation) once applied!
It wears for around six hours on me before showing some fair wear at hour seven without setting with powder.
I think Sleek Makeup CC Cream is formulated very nicely especially if you like lighter coverage! This is a perfect base for Summer wearing when you want something fresh and natural yet also something to ease dullness, some redness, and something to brighten and even out skin tone.
