Yves Rocher Bronzer Summer 2014

Yves Rocher Bronzing Powder ($10) is a cute, inexpensive bronzer disc that launched with the Yves Rocher Summer 2014 Makeup Collection. I’ll be mad at you if you haven’t tried the Summer 2014 Lipglosses! They are divine and quite cheap! If you haven’t now you can snag them along with the Bronzing Powder for your Summer looks!

Yves Rocher Bronzing Powder comes house in a colorful yellow compact. Thank god it isn’t the size of a CD. I swear those monster size bronzer discs overwhelm this girl!

I’m thankful the packaging isn’t massive which means I can easily travel with it if I like and it stores nicely too!

This contains three traditional shades of tan bronzer that range from dark to lightest with a hint of shimmer. It’s quite dense yet applies with a silky, smooth finish that doesn’t cling to drier areas on my face. The color is fairly universal so it adds a touch of warmth to your face but isn’t an overwhelming shade of muddy or orange-y bronzer. Since I’m a bit of a dummy when it comes to bronzer this is an ideal formula for me as I can’t over do it in the least! Simply sweet it on and it instantly adds warmth to your face.

If you’re looking for simplicity Yves Rocher Bronzing Powder is a good way to go. The soft, silky texture is a snap to apply and it wears with an airbrushed, natural finish that adds warmth to your face without over doing things!

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. The shades look really nice in the pan, but I prefer matte bronzers, especially for contouring…Too Faced Chocolate Soleil is my favorite.
