    Can’t wait for the movie to come out. I have watched the trailer a couple of times already. Still not crazy about Dakota playing Anastasia but who knows she might play this character very well. But, I believe they got Mr. Grey right.

      ok, don’t shoot me, but I like her well enough but does she need some major concealer!? She has bags! haha! Aside from that, well, she seems like an ok Ana…! We shall see! But Jamie as Christian, I’m so on BOARD with that! Love him!

        Lol…I was thinking the same thing. The girl looks tired. Your right someone on set could have said “Concealer, please.” I just wished that Jamie could have kept his accent. That’s one of the things that makes him sooooo appealing. They could have worked in the accent some how.

          right!? She’s very pretty but she has some sort of odd baggage going on under her eyes! I understand they are likely trying to make her sort of low key perhaps, girl next door!? but they can do so with a little under eye concealer haha! Jamie’s accent is indeed sexy but it would likely be weird if he kept it for the film 😀

    Don’t shoot me for being a hater, buuuuut… I’m one of the ones who secretly read all of the books and, while I thought some of it was obviously hot, I kind of hated them… Christian is SUCH an unforgivable douchebag! I just feel like it glorifies a guy being a totally controlling ahole because, aww poor him, he had some “issues” in his younger years that changed him so it’s totally cool if he treats her like crap, as long as he screws her and buys her pretty stuff. And omg, I got so sick and tired of Ana’s inner dialog… I was simultaneously cringing and struggling to refrain from smashing my Kindle after the 50th “inner goddess” reference, and I’m pretty sure I wasn’t even at the halfway point in the book yet.

    On a less hater-y note… How the hell are they going to make a movie about it without it being a straight porn?!? I mean, they’d have to limit it quite a bit… 😛

      lol christian is one of those dudes that sounds incredible on paper but bring him into your “real” life and you’d likely murder him within an hour! I hated the inner goddess thing, it was dumb and grated on my nerves. I actually read the first one quick, the second one quick, but the third one took me literally ages to finish! they are just too emotionally draining and tedious lol! actually it’s focus pictures, so they are likely going to be quite elegantly done!!!!!!!!!

    I haven’t read 50 Shades of Grey but I’m familiar enough with what it’s about. I was expecting the trailer to be… weirder? Crazier? It has a very… sanitized vibe. You know how in a lot of young adult novel adaptations the world looks kind of bleached of color whether it’s a dystopian future or Twilight? This kind of has that vibe in a lot of scenes. Why is it so bright? Why is there so little furniture? Why does everyone emote so little?

    I think of the actor playing Christian Grey as that guy who was on Once Upon a Time in season 1 (before I stopped watching OUAT). When he was cast I wasn’t thinking it, but seeing him in the trailer he is definitely giving me Robert Pattison vibes.

    I love Beyonce and I love the original Crazy in Love but I don’t love the new version. I want to but it just doesn’t sound as great as everyone says it does.
