Etude House Wonder Pore Freshner Review

Etude House Wonder Pore Freshner 1

My Etude House Wonder Pore Freshner review is a long time coming as I’m already on my third bottle of this stuff and still have yet to feature it on Musings.

According to Etude House in provides not 1, not 2, not even 5 functions but it’s actually a 10 in 1 ultra pore solution! I feel like I need to beat on a drum and run in circles now or something!

Of course, it’s simply a toner but the promised 10 in 1 formulation sure does get me excited.

Etude House Wonder Pore Freshner supposedly balances the skin’s pH Level and yes it succeeds! It’s a cool, refreshing formula with a light fresh scent that you can use saturate a cotton pad with and smooth all over your face after cleansing to add moisture, remove excess oil, or any film your cleanser has left behind, and get your skin back to a more normal pH level after a good cleansing. It also apparently refines skin tone, removes dead skin cells, deep cleanses pores while minimizing their appearance, controls oil, moisturizes, and creates a smoother appearance. It doesn’t do laundry nor does it pick up the kids from school but I heard the next formula will have those options available.

Etude House Wonder Pore Freshner 2

In all seriousness most of what Etude House promises with this isn’t going to happen however, it is an excellent toner none the less. I’m loving Pixi Glow Tonic at the moment in all honesty but I continue to reach for Etude House Wonder Pore Freshner and use it in my daily AM regime after my shower. I tone my face because typically I’m a little dry after cleansing so this adds moisture and gets my skin into a more normal realm that isn’t feeling two sizes too tight after a cleanse. It also helps my moisturizer to absorb easily and it just softens my skin and removes any excess oil that may have developed so that skin has a good working canvas available for not only my skincare but also my makeup!

Etude House Wonder Pore Freshner

So no this isn’t really going to “deep clean your pores” or anything else it promises but it does go a long way at toning your face well!

I actually really love the Etude House Wonder Pore Freshner and it’s become a daily staple in my skincare regime!

Have it, love it. I actually love the whole wonder pore line. You need to try the cleanser. It comes in a metal can and it’s like cleaning your face with shaving foam lol. What’s really great is the foam doesn’t go away as you brush it in like some cleansing foams do 🙂

I never tried the cleanser! 😀 always wanted to too but didn’t bother picking up because I had so many cleansers to get through now I want it! 😀

Thanks for the review! I’ve been considering this & the matching whipping foam cleanser for awhile – I just gotta get through my cleanser/toner backlog first, haha.

I use this and I love it! It works well and is affordable. I’m on my 3rd 500ml bottle (love the pump it comes with!). It is only 15,000 won or 10,500 won when on sale (usd $10?) and last for ~6 months. I don’t live in Korea but it is still affordable in stores. I also put some in a small spray bottle and spray it on when my skin feels abit dry. This is the only étude house skincare product that I like a lot though.. Others have yet to impress me much. I mainly go for their makeup.

I love Pixi’s Glow Tonic too, all ingredients are excellent and it makes my face feel super clean, not dried out or tight. Glad to know that this one is also a solid performer – Pixi is frequently out of stock on the glow tonic and now I have a Plan B instead of freaking out wondering if the current glow tonic bottle will last long enough to get another! Most toners just don’t do it for me – ingredients too harsh, skin feels like a plastic Halloween mask after using, etc. Glad to know this one is worth getting.

agreed I have the same problem with toners nikole! I really love glow tonic to 😀 but I find the Etude House one just as nice 🙂

I’ve been eye-ing this because I am starting to get pore problems…I guess it doesn’t really work on pores? Muse, do you happen to know some skincare that you really like for pore minimizing?

    • Isabella Muse

honestly, I don’t think there are products that are going to minimize your pores long term…! to visibly reduce their appearance you can use primers and the line to conceal/hide them but to actually make them smaller? I think that’s the stuff of fantasies 🙁

I actually just added this to my skincare routine! I liked it, but then I realized there was alcohol so now I’m kind of hesitant to continue using the product :/ I’m glad it works well for you though! 🙂

Just wondering, when you bought it did the top come in sealed with some plastic to ensure that no tampering had been done to it or was there no sealing and you could just squirting the toner out from the get-go? I’d really appreciate a response, and TIA!

Nice review. I always learn a lot from your posts.

I would like to ask. Is it OK to use an SPF moisturizer after the Freshner? The wonder pore series has essence and emulsion but I always go outdoor so I am always use an SPF moisturizer.
