It Cosmetics Your Most Radiant You Gift Set

As you already know there’s a new It Cosmetics Your Most Radiant You QVC Today’s Special Value available today for Holiday 2014 that includes five full size It Cosmetics products! I gave you a little sneak peek of the set earlier last week and today I thought I’d review and swatch the set for your.

Let’s take a look!

It Cosmetics Your Most Radiant You

It Cosmetics Your Most Radiant You is available as a one time purchase for $54.96 or you can purchase an auto ship option which will include everything you see here except the brush every 90 days for the next 2 years, you can of course, cancel anytime you want. I believe future shipments that lack the brush will be charged at a lower price but I’ll confirm that shortly and update this post! Unfortunately the upcoming shipments will not include new color selections so everything you get in the first shipment is exactly what you’ll get in future shipments.

It Cosmetics Your Most Radiant You Set

The It Cosmetics Your Most You Set includes full sizes of:

  • Celebration Foundation Illumination in Fair, Light, Medium, Tan, or Rich
  • Hello Lashes! Extensions Mascara in Black
  • No Tug Waterproof Gel Eyeliner in Black/Brown
  • CC+ Radiance Ombre Blush in Je Ne Sais Quoi (soft pink shade)
  • Heavenly Luxe Double Airbrush Foundation Brush

I reviewed It Cosmetics Celebration Foundation when it originally launched. This is a much beloved formula for It Girls but doesn’t quite get on well for my drier skin. It contains the same anti-aging formula as the original but this version has drops of light technology to give skin a lit from within glow.

This is a full coverage foundation with a matte finish that is supposed to illuminate skin. It comes housed in a white compact that houses the powder on the top level as well as a mirror with a flat brush for application located on the bottom. You get your pick of five shades in this formula when ordering.

My drier skin doesn’t get on with it. If you want a full coverage matte foundation and you’re super oily I haven’t a doubt you’ll like it. I find it wears best in the Summer for me when I am a bit oily but now, when my skin is drier, it accentuates my flaky areas. It buffs out to a very smooth, even appearance if you’re oily and has an incredible airbrushed, brightening finish with excellent coverage. I find the finish much like the original It Cosmetics Celebration Foundation without any illuminating glow. I expected some sort of sparkle or luminosity when I originally tried it but I get full matte without any glow. It wears quite well for a solid five hours before showing signs of fading while providing an oil absorbing matte finish through that wear.

You get a Heavenly Luxe Double Airbrush Foundation Brush with the set to use with the powder. This is a flat top fibre brush that you can use wet or dry to buff color on. This a really well made brush with synthetic bristles that do not shed. It’s positively perfect for use with the foundation as it buffs the powder into a soft, silky airbrushed finish on skin!

If you love the original formula you’re bound to love this especially if you like full coverage powder foundations. If you’re drier, do beware and prep well prior to use for the best finish.

The star of this collection is obviously the CC+ Radiance Ombre Blush which I’ve already reviewed and and swatched in a prior post. This is a soft, velvety texture with excellent pigmentation. It’s actually brand new to this set and available exclusively at QVC.com until 12/31 so you get to preview it first in the set. If you’d like to hear more about it see my review post here.

Another new item in this set is the Hello Lashes! Extensions Mascara which looks a lot like my beloved It Cosmetics Hello Lashes 5-in-1 Volumizing Mascara. It supposedly contains melted nylon fibers which give it a very thick texture. I actually prefer the original Hello Lashes but this performs in quite a similar fashion giving lashes length, volume, and fullness with a formula that doesn’t give lashes a stiff or crunchy set. The brush finished a bushy bristled brush with comb-like spikes and a spiked ball at the end. The ball at the end catches hard to reach inner lashes. I find the brush looks a lot like the Hello Lashes one but performs a little different since it acts like a comb even though it looks like a traditional bushier brush. I get a lot of length from it and some fairly nice volume. It doesn’t flake or smudge on my drier eyes and removes easily at the end of the day!

Another new item for me is the No Tug Waterproof Gel Eyeliner. This is a black/brown shade which leans towards being a richer espresso shade. Funny thing as I have a few of the older No Tug pencils and they are a traditional pencil! This is actually a twist up pencil but also features a sharpener hidden away at the bottom of the pencil so you can keep the point of the pencil sharp and precise. I find the old No Tug formula was a little drier but this gel formula has a nice creamy glide on my lash line and has a super strong set. It’s even difficult to remove with eye makeup remover! It wears very, very well so if you have oily lids and issues with eyeliner that smudges this should be your best friend! Very good pigment here as well!

The It Cosmetics Your Most Radiant You is definitely a deal and will make an excellent gift for makeup lovers as it comes housed in large, gorgeous box ready for gifting! I realize it seems early for holiday shopping but I’m positive moms and makeup lovers will adore this set!

Definitely worth a purchase.

It’s available now at QVC.com at this price TODAY only.

ISABELLA MUSE, 😍 you are rockin’ that kit like nobodies business! You look beautiful! Please don’t take that to mean you don’t always look beautiful, but something about this kit on you just makes you have this inner glow that comes out in your face and eyes. It is just a natural beauty! I love it on you! 💖

    • Isabella Muse

aw you are too sweet thanks nicole! 🙂 <3! you're very kind! hugs!

Thanks for the great review and swatches! I have seen a few reviews on youtube, which say to steer clear of this foundation if you have any visible pores at all. I am very encouraged (as I want the TSV!) that you say you get full matte. Do you think this would accentuate visible pores? I have some visible pores on my cheeks. Thanks so much for any feedback. 🙂

    • Isabella Muse

I’m not sure karena, I only have smaller visible pores on my nose. I kinda don’t think it will. It’s heavier on drier, flaky skin and does accentuate those areas if you don’t prep well but for pores on cheeks, I dunno, I don’t think it should be an issue but obviously primer is a girl/guy’s best friend prior to any powder foundation 🙂

Thank you so much for the very helpful and prompt review!! I greatly appreciate your kind attention, Muse!!

        • Isabella Muse

my pleasure! I hope it works for you!? I wish I had more experience with how it works on larger pores. Honestly, with primer I don’t think it’ll be an issue! especially if you have oily skin!

I thought this was the original foundation. I’m kind of glad it’s not so I can try the newer version.
I hope the colors are the same or I might be sorry I got the medium.

Dear Muse, I love your blog!! It is so informative and the amount of posts is amazing. We have a similar skin type and your recommendations are spot on for me. I actually got up at midnight to snag this one and can’t wait to try it. One quick question…have you had a chance to check out the new It Celebration Eyeshadow Palette? I was curious what you think of it and how it compares to the first one. At any rate, have a happy Thursday and keep up the good work! You are awesome!!

      • Brooke Jones

This kit sold out so quickly so I am glad I got in on it right away when it was released! I really only wanted the blush and when I found out you couldn’t get it any other way until after 12/31, I panicked and bought the entire kit. I now have 3 of those brushes, and at least 3 or 4 foundations (from prior kits on auto delivery). I had taken a break from the foundation just to try something different, but I went back to it and remembered why I love it so much. My skin has gone through some changes and is not so dry anymore so this one is perfect and even better with a primer. The blush, though – new HG for sure!!! Perfect with their gloss stain in the same shade. I am in love with this kit. Thanks for an awesome and very detailed review!

    • Isabella Muse

aw my pleasure leah sure glad you got it. Maybe you can gift your extras to friends for the Holiday and convert them to It 🙂
