Lush Fairy Ring Soap Review
Lush Fairy Ring Soap is a new, limited edition soap launching this week with the Lush Halloween 2014 Collection. I get terribly excited when Lush launches a new soap as I really enjoy their soap collection. Plenty of lather, skin softening ingredients, what more could a girl want?
Oh, I know, a soap shaped like a mushroom!
Well not really unless you buy a full slab of it. Lush Fairy Ring Soap is shaped like a little toadstool mushroom dwelling, perhaps a little Hobbit might live happily inside it. Sliced up, as you can see from my photo, it’s white with a bright orange gel accent.
This little mushroom soap is in fact made with Shiitake mushrooms which are known to have anti-aging properties as well as nutrients that improve blood circulation! Well sign me up for more Lush Fairy Ring Soap in that case. It also contains Jasmine absolute, vetiver, and ylang ylang oils!
It smells divine. I thought it would be floral due to the jasmine and ylang ylang but for me it smells like a creamy coconut fragrance. It’s very soothing and quite delicious. On some levels it reminds me of the fragrance of Curly Wurly Shampoo but a little lighter and a little creamier. It’s gorgeous to say the least and for Lush fans I imagine it’ll warrant a back up.
This creates a very creamy lather with a nice skin softening formula that’s quite gentle on my drier skin. The fragrance isn’t super long wearing as some Lush soaps can last for hours but it’s enough to leave skin delicately scented for an hour or so after your shower.
Ahhh I’d say Lush Fairy Ring Soap deserves a Muse Approval.
Do like.
It’ll be available at lush.com and at Lush stores on October 3rd and is already available on the Lush UK site.
