Almay Launches Buttery Lip Balms

Almay-Lip-Butter

I almost missed the display of Almay Smart Shade Lip Butter recently at Bed, Bath, and Beyond because it was on a pull out cart. I guess they were waiting to stock in on shelves…but lucky enough there it was and I managed to grab all the shades because I’m such a junkie for lip butters.

Let’s hope I love them!

The Almay Smart Shade Lip Butter are available in twelve shade selections that Almay developed to flatter skin tones. They group the shades into three skin tone suggestions of Medium Undertones, Light Medium Undertones, and Light Undertones. Within these undertones they recommend 4 shades each.

I’m a firm believer anyone can wear any shade you want so I don’t really agree with the guidelines on their color suggestions/recommendations. I’m just excited they have a new Lip Butter!

Review upcoming on these.

Excited about the new Almay Smart Shade Lip Butters?

i agree that anyone can wear any shades too! (well most of the time, as long as people avoid the concealer lip that results from the wrong nude lipcolor).

i find, even if a lipstick/ lipcolor is wrong for me, i can make it work by mixing it with another lipstick or lipgloss, so its never a waste. creating new colors by mixing is always fun!

rimmel now has a lip butter type product too (in canada)! it looks like maybeline butter lips!
