The Bare Minerals I Love the Night Life Lasting Line Long Wear Eyeliner Set ($29) is one of two Holiday 2014 Eyeliner Sets that contain five shades of Lasting Ling Long Wearing Eye Liner Pencils.
Recently, I reviewed the Bare Minerals Afternoon Delights Set and wasn’t terribly impressed.
Any improvements in the Bare Minerals I Love the Night Life Eyeliner Set?

It’s an unfortunate thing but the Bare Minerals I Love the Night Life Eyeliner Set is just as bad as the Afternoon Delights Set. Ouch! This set includes five 0.06 oz double ended eyeliner pencils which have the pencil on one end and a smudger on the other with a stealthy little sharpener located under the the tip of the smudger.
At a glance this is a great set. Generously sized eyeliners, great packaging, nice range of shades but unfortunately I find the formula isn’t so great. One thing to note here is the colors are a little more intense than the shades from the Afternoon Delights set but aside from that the texture is just as dry, stiff, and dense as the liners in that set. I think the only redeeming factor of the formula is the fact they do wear long and strong but the colors are very muted, the texture makes it difficult to apply so they skip and tug during application, and they just look faded out. If you have oily lids YOU MIGHT appreciate this formula but I have to admit I question that even.

Unfortunately, Bare Minerals I Love the Night Life Eyeliner Set isn’t a gift set I’d recommend. The liner formula is just too frustrating to use especially on my drier eyes.
