The Body Shop Glazed Apple Lip Balm Review

The Body Shop Glazed Apple Lip Balm is one of a few new Holiday 2014 Lip Balms that recently launched at the Body Shop. Glazed Apple is actually a brand new fragrance for 2014 and I have to say it is delightful so of course, I wanted it in a lip balm!

The delicious The Body Shop Glazed Apple Lip Balm comes in a cute little generously sized screw top tin and will only set you back $6 (or much less as the Body Shop always has ridiculously good Holiday sales).

This formula is enriched with Community Fair Trade Beeswax which gives the balm a soft, emollient texture. I actually think the lip balm doesn’t do the Glazed Apple fragrance enough credit as the fragrance smells like sweet, tart slightly sour apple candy to me but the balm has a more softer fragrance and flavor with a hint of floral to it. This does have a very strong fragrance and flavor so beware for those sensitive to fragrance in their lip balms.

The initial layer of the balm is dense but pressing into it unveils a squishy, soft balm that glides onto lips easily with a soft shiny finish and plenty of hydration! This is very emollient and my dried lips are loving on it!

This is a nice way to add moisture and shine to lips!

A perfect treat for dry Winter lips.
