The Body Shop Glazed Apple

The Body Shop Glazed Apple is a new, limited edition Holiday 2014 fragrance that I’m loving at the moment! Well done Body Shop for making me think apples for Christmas! Lord knows my mind is on apples all through October but I never really consider them for Christmas…

But now I will!

I recently purchased the Body Shop Glazed Apple Eau de Toilette and The Body Shop Body & Room Spray and they smell good enough to make an Appletini with!

People have gone on to say that Glazed Apple smells like Jolly Ranchers, tart crunchy green apples, and even apple lollipops! This isn’t a natural apple scent but a very sweet, candy fragrance which is great for me because I like my perfumes to give me a tooth ache. I wouldn’t say it’s a true Jolly Rancher scent because it isn’t really sour! At first mist it’s all crunchy green apple! Tart, crunchy, you can almost bite into it. It’s very sweet on the initial application but as it dries down it becomes a mellow, happy crispy apple fragrance but a grassy greenness that’s fresh and pretty!

I loved the Creme Brulee fragrance as well but my body chemistry wasn’t working with it. Glazed Apple has nicer throw and seems to linger considerably better on my skin! I do find that the Body and Room Spray is obviously a little weaker than the EDT but you can kinda sorta layer them if you like for the best linger and of course, grab up the body lotion, shower gel, etc…for the best and longest wear.

I wouldn’t call it a full on apple fragrance to me it’s candy-ish, apples, and sweetness. Very, very pleasing to my nose and should be a hit with those that love sweet fruity gourmands!

Anyone try it?

I love this one. The creme brulee vanilla is OK but the glazed apple is amazing.

Much thanks for your reviews on these new BS lines, Muse! I tried a sample of the Red Musk at my Body Shop(it is different!) and the sales clerk suggested layering it with the Glazed Apple. Well, stuff me in a stocking – layering the two made it very Xmas-y! Love to know what you think.
