Burt's Bees Pumpkin Spice Lip Balm

With Thanksgiving (or as I call it, Turkey Day) around the corner you might wish to indulge in Burt’s Bees Pumpkin Spice Lip Balm ($4) because this little treat for lips has zero calories plus hello, PUMPKIN SPICE EVERYTHING yo!

Burt's Bees Pumpkin Spice

Burt’s Bees Pumpkin Spice Moisturizing Lip Balm contains pumpkin seed and coconut oils as well as beeswax to keep lips extra smooth and soft. This little guy is denser and not as balmy in texture as other drugstore lips balms so you get a nice smooth, soft finish on lips. It actually tastes a lot like cinnamon with back notes of pumpkin so it isn’t a completely a food-y flavor but more of a Fall one!

As chronically as I apply lip balm, it’s a perfect little treat to keep my lips smooth while not breaking my beauty budget.

It’s available now for a limited time exclusively at Target and Target.com and absolutely calorie-free don’t don’t ingest it, this one time at band camp, I totally ate an entire cherry Chapstick but it’s not something I’d recommend.

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. This balm is not for me, sadly. I love the brands stuff, but I’m allergic to pumpkin seed!! Sadness 🙁

Wanna hear something crazy? There was a news segment a while ago, kids down here were buying burts bees and putting them underneath their eyelids to get ‘high’. A couple stores even started keeping them behind the register.

Haha. And here I thought I was just in a good mood because I really love Pumpkin Spice stuff. It sounds like they were just using the original one for the mint, lol. Anyway, back to this one, I really like it and I’m glad I bought it. It’s not too strong or too weak of a smell.

Oh boy… I purchased his last week and it made my lips burn like mad. The sensation lasted for several hours. It also left an odd sensation in my mouth. Nope I didn’t attempt to eat it or even lick my lips. Too bad- I so love pumpkin everything. Glad you loved it tho Muse!

ah that’s horrible. Are you terribly sensitive? I didn’t have an issue to be honest but it does contain cinnamon that could have been what set ya off!
