Lush Hot Toddy Shower Gel Review

Lush Hot Toddy Shower Gel

Lush Hot Toddy Shower Gel is a brand new, limited edition Lush Holiday 2014 launch.

This sparkling red cinnamon scented shower gel uses real cinnamon leaf oil to warm your body up in the shower this Winter!

I recall, not so long ago, when Lush Glogg Shower Gel made an appearance in my shower gel!

I like cinnamon but I enjoy it mixed with sugar so you get that sweet, spicy warmth from it! I don’t really like the true fragrance of cinnamon alone or say in pumpkin pie. Lush Hot Toddy Shower Gel is more of a fully on warm cinnamon scent without a ton of sweetness. This is warm, very spicy, and has that undefinable touch of Lush fragrance (Lushie’s will know exactly what I mean!).

Although it sparkles this doesn’t leave behind shimmer on your body while in the shower. It does have a a kind warming feeling as you use which is quite lovely. It reminds me in some ways of Lush Chai Shower Gel but with considerably more cinnamon to it! Lush says it kinda smells like those cinnamon heart candies but sadly I don’t get that as they do have a little bit of ginger in the mix which keeps things from getting sweet or candy-like!

If you like warm, spicy scents you’ll love but keep in mind this isn’t a sugar and spice kinda blend, it’s straight up cinnamon warmth and richness!

Smelled it?

I have to check this one out. I know you weren’t a Glogg fan, but it’s still one of my all time favorite Lush products.

this smelled like hot tamale candies to me, which i sort of hate the smell of…bleh..i like sweet scents

I thought it was going to smell like hot cinnamon heats, but I really don’t get that, it’s a lot of hardcore cinnamon!

I love cinnamon so I’m sold on the scent. I’d worry about this irritating my skin though. Cinnamon oil is used in a lot of lip plumpers so I’m afraid with my sensitive skin I’d come out of the shower the same color as one of those candy hearts.

I think I might like this! I’ll check it out next time I’m at Lush.

You are a great spokesperson for Lush! We have had a store here in town and I always walked on by, holding my breath because it stank so much. (in my opinion) BUT after reading about First Snow I went in. Bought that and the heart like bars with sparkle to rub on my arms and also the heart like massage bar with the chocolate like substance inside. Oh, and the wonderfully flavored lip scrubs too.

I am now hooked. Thank you Muse.
