Tonymoly Latte Art Cappuccino Cream-In Scrub Review & Swatches
Coffee lover? You might just love the Tonymoly Latte Art Cappuccino Cream-in Scrub! I got this scrub in my recent Memebox Special #39 Cafe Box and fell in love with but beware dry skin users as this is best used perhaps every two weeks.
Take a look!
Tonymoly Latte Art Cappuccino Cream-In Scrub apparently contains milk as well as coffee extracts to gently exfoliate skin. As you can see it comes housed in a cute little coffee mug! The stirrer located on the top slides out and acts as a spatula to remove the scrub from the container.
The scrub does indeed smell like yummy coffee and creamy milk! It’s a very pleasant fragrance to my nose and quite realistic but might not agree with sensitive users. Apparently the coffee extracts and milk act to dissolve dry, flaky skin however, I have my doubts about it actually contain milk. It has a very thick, sticky consistency that reminds me of facial wax. To use it simply apply to a dry, cleansed face and slowly massage it in. It actually has a warming effect as you use it which again, might not agree with sensitive users. The warming effect closely resembles that of Biore Self Heating Mask. As massage it turns white which is when you’ll want to rinse it away with water. It has very small scrubby granulates in the mix but I don’t feel these are strong enough to whisk away dryness.
After using it my face looks very, very clean and brighter. However, my skin is quite tight so I have to be sure to apply plenty of moisturizer after use. Surprisingly it does give my skin not only a super squeaky clean look and feel but also a smoother one. The dryness around my cheeks is smoother, the flaking I experience on my chin, also gone. So it’s obviously working well as an exfoliating treatment.
I’d recommend using it once a week if you have dry skin…personally I use it once every two weeks because it’s a bit too drying for me! I like the effects, I just don’t love the dryness so once every two weeks is plenty for my skin.
I got it in my recent Memebox but many Ebay.com sellers including F2Plus1 sells this!
