Yes to Coconuts Eczema Relief Mist

So I recently purchased Yes to Coconuts Eczema Relief Spray ($9.99) at Target. Now I should this review by saying I don’t technically have eczema?! Or at least I don’t think I do…..I had my yearly physical in May and got my flu shot last month and I told my Doctor’s both times that I was having this scaly try itchy upper chest thing going on. Around the base of my throat and upper chest I had a seriously bad itchy thing going on! I noticed that the skin would me patchy a little in this area, red, and had an almost scaled over appearance. I assumed it was Eczema related but having never had the issue before I wasn’t sure.

Both times I told my doctor and he said to use Neosporin Eczema Essentials Daily Moisturizing Cream. It sure did help with the itching for a few hours but it would return quickly after and I’d be itchy yet again.

I was going to head to the dermatologist but I discovered Yes to Coconuts Eczema Relief Spray prior to that and I must say this helped A LOT!

Yes to Coconuts Eczema Relief Spray

I’m prone to dry skin but nothing that goes so far as being eczema or psoriasis related. This itchy neck thing is totally a new thing for me! I thought maybe it had something to do with the detergent soap I was using…who knows but something is irritating my skin for the last few months.

I’ve actually used an entire three large tubes of Neosporin and it helps a good deal with the itchiness but my skin was still patchy and dry. It also felt like this worked for a few hours only and I was back to being itchy again.

I came across Yes to Coconuts Eczema Relief Spray at Target and thought it was expensive for a 2 oz bottle. I kinda felt this way because it seemed like a lotion wouldn’t help so why would a mist? I will say the idea of a mist is much more appealing and less messy than applying gobs of lotion on your neck and check. I simply mist this on and pat it gently or I can just mist and leave it. It’s completely fragrance free and apparently contains coconut oil. The bottle says “temporarily relief” of itching associated with minor irritations and rashes due to eczema. I used it two days in a row, one time each day and instantly my itching stopped! I couldn’t believe it! I’ve since used up the entire bottle and didn’t feel the need to repurchase it as the itching has not been back since I finished the bottle.

This formula is a fine mist and doesn’t leave my skin greasy or oily it does however, feel like a moist toner! It’s very pleasant and easy to use and a lot less heavy than Neosphorin or other body lotions.

Needless to say I was impressed with this! And relieved because I felt like I was ready to itch the skin right off my body, it was just that bad!

If you have issues with dry, itchy skin you might want to check this out! It helped me majorly!

Yes to Coconuts Eczema Relief Spray is actually available exclusively at Target and Target.com if you’re wanting to try it. I can’t rave it enough!

Anyone try it?

Muse, this is good to know. I actually purchased this product about a week ago. It was on clearance at Target along with the rest of the Yes to Coconut line. I may have paid around $6. Based on your review, I look forward to using it this winter when my back gets extremely itchy and dry.

$6 bucks nice! I wish I got it on sale but honestly, $10 bucks is worth it! It so relieved my itchiness! 😀 let me know what ya think!

How ironic you posted this review as I have been having the exact same issues for the last 2 months but they told me to use Cetaphil Restoraderm Eczema Calming but never classified it as eczema but it still itches like crazy! I will definitely check this out as its cheaper than the dr visit and co-pay. I thought anything coconut would clog pores and make things worst. Glad to know its soothing.

    • Isabella Muse

omg kinda glad to hear that. seriously I was itching myself raw, I left scratches it was so bad. I didn’t try Cetaphil to be honest! I know the Neophorin kinda worked but within a few hours the itchy was back! Let me know if it works for you!

I have eczema and it is not fun. I have to be careful with what I use. I have to use the gentlest body washes and use moisturizer head to toe daily after my shower. My dermatologist told me to use CeraVe cream and it is what I use everyday so my eczema doesn’t flare up. If you get a reaction it is good too look at your skin care routine and what you are using. You may have been allergic to something you used. I even get rashes from certain laundry detergents.

Hi Em! I actually put on hold a lot of items I use because of the rash! But yeah, I just had a mild case I suppose? but none the less it was damn uncomfortable 🙁 so sorry you struggle with it!!!

  • Marina

I have terrible eczema that used to be particularly bad when I lived in New York. Since moving 8 years ago, I hadn’t had much of a problem. I assume because it is more humid here, and our water is different. However in the last six months it has been terrible! It popped up again and is just quite uncomfortable. I have the Neosporin stuff and it works really well when kept up with. I think I will try this too! Thanks Muse!

my pleasure marina. Yup, that was my problem with Neosphorin! If I skipped a day or didn’t use it or even after a few hours I’d end up being itchy again. This worked within two days for me Marian. I hope you have the same success!

  • Simone

Wow. I have eczema and have yet to find something that really helps. I’ll definitely be givin this a shot. Thanks!

I’ve been having a similar issue lately and purchased this product on sale at Target about a mnth ago. It did help but I think I may have lost the bottleas I cannot find it anywhere.

Omg it’s like you’re living my life right now! Lol this is so crazy! I actually have eczema but until a few months ago I’ve been breakout free since my early childhood years. My first patch showed up in the exact same spot lol. I thought I was having an allergic reaction to something until I started seeing similar patches on my thighs. I’ve found that hydrocortisone cream works wonders but I hate how thick and messy it can be. I’ll have to try this. Thank you!

  • Angie

Thank you so much for your review; I went out and bought a bottle right away! I also have been having weird itchiness on my neck and jaw the past few months that just won’t go away and looks ugly with red patches. I started using this yesterday afternoon and 24 hours later I am itch-free and the red patches are almost gone! Amazing how well this worked, thanks again!

    • Isabella Muse

omg that’s awesome angie glad to hear it. I had the same great success! I was scratching myself raw! glad it worked 😀

Good ingredients. I saw this on clearance at Target over the weekend, which seemed odd because I was sure this was a new product. But I passed on it for some reason. Now I’m tempted to return and see if I can find it again. My skin gets pretty dry and itchy in winter and this might be really welcome come January!

  • Cass

This stuff is absolutely my miracle. I don’t have eczema, but I have the itchiest skin in the entire world, and nothing works as well as this spray! It’s currently clearanced out at Target – just wanted everyone to know – I snagged several bottles on Sunday for $2.98 a piece!

  • Kat

Sadly it appears to be discontinued. And it’s the only thing worked for me and my dry red scaly chin.
