I have an iPad mini and an regular iPad but the Asus Memo Pad takes the cake for travel as it’s incredibly thin and super lightweight with a nice woven backing that allows me to grip it comfortably. It comes pre-loaded with some a host of Asus suite apps such as an audio wizard to fine tuning sound for music and movie playback. It runs Asus’s Zen UI which is your basic Android OS but feels a lot less bloated and a heck of a lot faster than other Android tablets I’ve used in the past. The IPS display weights in at 1280 x 800 making for the perfect size for gaming and the sharp crisp picture is ideal for entertainment options such as sitting in bed and binge watching Sons of Anarchy!
Possibly the nicest aspect is the $129.99 price tag, making it a rather nice bit of tech for not a lot of money.
