Take a look!
One of the most appealing aspects of the Lunasol AHKAH Collection Cheeks and really the entire Lunasol AHKAH Collection is the gorgeous metallic pink packaging. Lunasol went a little extra special with this collection with pretty pink compacts decorated with the AHKAH logo and smoky clouds. The blush comes with it’s own brush which has soft bristles and works very well with the powder.
In theory and visibly the Lunasol AHKAH Collection Cheeks is simply gorgeous. It’s a blusher slash highlighter available in a single shade selection of EX01. The powder is designed in slanted stripe design featuring three different colors of beige peach, light creamy beige pink, and pink coral. The pink coral is such a beautiful shade but unfortunately both the lighter pink beige and beige peach drown the pigmented coral color out completely.
The powder is soft and powdery but not chalky. It swatches a bright pink but it applies as a frosty lighter pink that’s not quite visible on my skin tone. I understand Japanese blushers like this are trying to go with a softly flushed, highlighted cheek but for me they end up looking very drown out with barely any color and the formula is one that clings to my drier cheeks badly. I have A LOT of Japanese blushes that use the same concept as the Lunasol AHKAH Collection Cheeks and none of them quite work out the way I want them too. I wish I could get more of the bright pinky coral from this shade but sadly it’s not noticeable.

Lunasol AHKAH Collection Cheeks didn’t quite perform as well as I hoped it would. Oh well! At least it’s another pretty makeup piece to go into my Beauty Vault!
