Sonia Kashuk Nude Lip Palette

Earlier this year Sonia Kashuk released her first every Lip Palette in a range of red lip colors. I’m happy to report for Holiday 2014 she releases yet another lip palette but this time in a nude range of shades.

Housed in a gold compact featuring Sonia’s initials in black on the cover the Nude Lip Palette in Jazzed Up Nudes makes for an elegant beauty budget friendly gift priced at a mere $19.99. The palette has a very rich, high end look and features a full size mirror inside as well as a long handled lip brush for applying shades.

The shades inside are perfectly wearable shades of blush nude, beige nude, pink nude, peachy nude, and mauve nude and each shade can be mixed and match to create your most perfect nude. The lipsticks have a soft, creamy consistency with a satin finish although I do advise exfoliating prior if you’re prone to dry lips as they can cling to drier areas. Colors wear for a solid four hours without migrating, feathering, or fading and they do not have a flavor or fragrance.

I’m kinda one of those girl’s that loves mixing and matching different glosses and lipsticks so I really like this palette as the options and combinations are endless when mixing shades. The shades are really pretty nudes and utterly wearable. No worries, I didn’t run into a single zombie nude here! All the colors just work well alone or mixed together to create other shades. And hey, if you do run into a single shade that doesn’t work for you, there’s plenty of colors you can mix with it to create something new and exciting that DOES work for you!

If you’re gifting no one will believe you paid merely $20 for the palette as it does have a very high look, feel, and formula!

Even if you aren’t a fond fan of lip palettes (I know I’m not) I’m positive you’ll adore the Sonia Kashuk Nude Lip Palette. This classy little lip palette brings together beautiful nude lipsticks for a little price tag.

I created my lip look above by combining the two last shades in the palette. I seriously can spend hours just mixing and matching all the shades to create the perfect nude!

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. I’m glad to hear you love it! I purchased it and gave it to DH to put in my stocking on Christmas! After so many years of an empty stocking, I now fill my own, lol! Anyway can’t wait to try it. Thanks for the review and swatches 🙂

Wow, so pretty! Looks good on you, as well, Muse!! Thanks for the swatches!

Oh, wow! I have to check this out. I have the WORST time with nude shades, most look like zombie lips on me or clash with my skintone. And often the color in the tube or the swatch on the hand ends up looking different when applied to my lips. It’s like rolling the dice every time I buy one.

This does look really nice. Nudes can be tough and this way you can tweak to your perfect color.

I love the idea of mixing different shades into your custom perfect color!
