Covergirl Queen Collection Liplicious Lipgloss Review & Swatches
The Covergirl Queen Collection Liplicious Lipgloss is a new 13 shade range of Liplicious Lipgloss that launched for Spring 2015. Obviously Covergirl Liplicious Lipgloss isn’t a new product or formula however, this new collection was created to flatterer deeper, darker skin tones.
The three shades I purchased are NOT available in the original Liplicious permanent collection so these are in fact new colors.
Shall we take a look?
Covergirl Colorlicious Lipgloss ($7.99) launched for Summer 2014 in 13 shades! It’s nice to see a new range available especially ones that’s meant to flatter darker tones although I must admit many of these new shades are wearable across a very wide range of skin tones.
Covergirl Colorlicious Lipgloss are a really thin, pleasantly lightweight sheer finish gloss with a sweet vanilla flavor and fragrance that’s quite strong so beware sensitive users. Although marketed as a pigmented gloss they do run sheerer in my experience but still provide a very nice tint to lips. I felt the formula very, very comfortable on my lips with absolutely no tackiness or stickiness. They have a nice lightly hydrating feel on my lips. They apply very nicely with the sponge applicator and do not drag or feel gooey or goopey on lips. They provide a very nice, shiny finish with a hint of shimmer in some cases depending on the finish of the gloss.

Absolutely nothing changes or gets lost in translation with the new Covergirl Queen Collection Liplicious Lipgloss! It’s the same formula, same flavor, same everything aside from a new range of colors to choose from.
One thing I dislike about the formula is the fact it disappears very, very quickly. They wear for about 60 minutes tops for me and fade away. I have no issues with the colors feathering or migrating, they just kinda fade away after an hour of wear due to the lack of stickiness and thickiness of the formula.
If you like lighter lipgloss formula and don’t mind the shorter wear and heck if you enjoyed the original Covergirl Colorlicious Lipglosses I’m sure the Covergirl Queen Collection Liplicious Lipgloss will come as a pleasant release bringing with it new shades to enjoy! I like the formula for Summer looks when I don’t want a ton of gooey, thick gloss on my lips! I just wish it wore a little bit longer!
Covergirl Queen Collection Liplicious Lipgloss are launching now at drugstores.
