dr jart night bb beauty balm

Meet the new Dr. Jart BB Night Beauty Balm which you can wear in the day or hell, go ahead and wear it to bed too if you’re feeling like living dangerously!

Dr. Jart BB Night Beauty Balm is a day and night BB Cream to give your skin a clean, bright, well hydrated finish (and no need for cleansing when using it).

The mild formula gives you a bare skin finish that brightens up skin and provides anti-aging functions apparently. It’s apparently a moisturizing gel with breathable colorants which can be used in the day or overnight without causing skin problems!

This one time at band camp I fell asleep with makeup on my face and everything my mom said about not wearing makeup to bed was true!

But, so yeah, I’m intrigued. You had me at wear it to bed and I like adventure so I might consider it!

You also had me at bare skin finish because I like really natural foundation that evens out my skin tone and brightens but doesn’t necessarily cover anything as I don’t really have problems to conceal that need extra coverage.

Wear it to bed though?

Must be super sheer….!

I’m wondering and I’m curious Dr Jart.

Might have to buy this one up!

Dr. Jart BB Night Beauty Balm is available now at Sephora.com.

Will you be wearing it to bed?

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Bare Minerals makes some kind of wear at night powder, too. It comes in 4 shades, even. I just don’t want to wash makeup off day and night and I’d worry about my pillowcases.

yup, I remember that one! never used it though! nice to know it didn’t transfer!

My skin is feeling clogged just thinking about wearing make up to bed. I can’t wrap my head around this!

I will be your test pet. I just ordered this. I love Dr.jart and have never give wrong with any of the products. I have sensitive, dry, and breakout prone skin. This sounds like its a perfect fit for my busy career mom tired life!

This just screams zit city to me LOL! But that’s just me and my crazy skin. I always wish I could wear those sleeping masks but they are a no go. So this probably won’t work for me. But it still sounds interesting and I can’t wait to hear how others like it. All this new stuff for spring. I’m giddy just reading about all of it.

Oh and on a sidenote, I finally caved and joined Instagram. Have no idea what the hell to do but I will figure out how to follow you 😉 I need a twelve year old to come over and school me on technology.

haha! 😀 Happy to have you on instagram Angel! it’s pretty easy once you get the hang of it 😀 It’s fun to follow brands too as they have sneak peeks of upcoming products/collection!

I don’t feel like finding the color on my bed linen in the morning so no, I would not wear this to bed even if it didn’t cause breakouts and irritation overnight.

Wow, this is a first! If you don’t want your date or significant other to see you without makeup EVER EVER, this would be the product. Wouldn’t it be funny if Makeup Forever came out with a similar product. I love the Dr. Jart BB Balms, but this one sounds weird, unless it’s just really a night cream. Hope you test it out

I have an obsession with Dr. Jart. I Feel they have the best BB creams in the US market right now. Will you have another post with review and swatch?

I work at Sephora, and we just got this a couple days ago. It’s actually a really interesting texture! Out of the tube, it looks clear but has tiny, itty bitty microbeads that burst as you blend. It seems very, very hydrating. No fragrance to be detected- in fact I believe it’s fragrance free! The texture as you feel it in your fingers seems just like a water light serum, with perhaps a bit of slip. Make up to bed? I dunno, seems gimmicky. But, for a sheer BB for day, for those of us that very dehydrated skins (me!) it seems like a good option. It is sheer though, no serious coverage here, and it only comes in one shade that seems to be able to work for your light-medium complexions.

Oh, cool! I don’t know if I’m brave enough to wear it to bed, but I’m tempted to try.

Update. Epic fail. Way too orangey and made my chin break out. Took it back. Plus the formula was more watery then gel like.

I am super curious about this one. All other Dr. Jart BB creams tend to have a Pinker undertone for my east indian skin. How does this one stand in comparison to the rest ? I am so tempted to buy it but am holding out for a review…

Ok I have swatched and deliberated over the entire Dr. Jart BB range and ended up buying this. (I have pigmentation issues – some patchy dark, some white freckles, argh) and this actually does get me to a presentable place. I was looking for something sheer and natural (already have foundations that i like). It’s all good – applies well and then ‘sets’ and doesn’t budge. It’s very sheer but has a demi-matte finish so you look a bit fixed up. I bought this to WEAR TO THE GYM, not to sleep in. I looked fine in that gross lighting, and didn’t feel like I had to hold back on working out because of sweating with makeup on. No sunscreen, it starts out like little grey beads and then self-adjusts to a nice shade, not too ruddy like many self adjusters. The only other BB from Jart I was considering was “Radiance”, with spf 35. It’s nicely yellow based, but a bit light. “Bounce” with it’s innovative compact also intrigued, but the shades were kinda off for me. MAC NC35 for reference.

per commenter above on the “orange” turn – it did turn a little bit orange on me, but in kind of a tan way, i rather liked it. might be a problem for others though. It has not broken me out so far, will update in a few days. *saving my receipt and it’s going back if it does!

ok. im back : returned it. after a few days i found it to be a disappointment. it doesnt wear well for more than a few hours and i think its agitating my skin. chin and sides of nose are not happy. returned it! i say, despite my initial enthusiasm, not worth $40.
