Lipstick Queen Ice Queen Lipstick

What’s old is new again with this sparkly shade of Lipstick Queen Ice Queen Lipstick ($24)! Bringing back that 60’s mod look this new white lipstick is flecked with silver and gold to illuminate lips with gorgeous sparkle.

Can you pull the look off?

Lipstick Queen Ice Queen Lipstick ($24) is an all white shimmering lipstick that has silver and gold sparkle in the mix. It’s transparent enough to allow your own natural pink lips to shine through while adding an icy, sparkly look to lips.

The sheer snow white shade acts to illuminate lips with silver and gold shimmer particles.

I have to second guess this one as I’m not sure I can pull it off! But perhaps as a top coat?!

What do you think?

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. It could be very nice for a topcoat or a basecoat, i.e. to play with existing shades. That’s actually an idea from the 60s too!

I’d also love to see LQ bring back the sheer black lipstick for the same reason.

Can you recommend any dupes for this product and color either drugstore, high-end, or mid-range? This brand is not available in my country.

    • Isabella Muse

sorry Anna I can’t because I haven’t seen any of these shades in person, it’s hard to recommend dupes based on a promo image. If I try them I’ll let you know!

  • Katherine T.

Wow, that’s a lot to pay for a lipstick you might only wear once in a while. For dupes, maybe the NYX Wicked Lippies might have one, and only for $ 6

i use just a touch of this in the upper center of my bottom lip to add dimension and fullness. It looks beautiful with every shade and you need very little of the product.
