Fans of Honey I Washed the Kids Soap are SURE to love all over the new Lush Honey I Washed My Hair Shampoo Bar! Honey I Washed the Kids and It’s Raining Men has such a cult following amongst Lushie fan girls and guys. And really could can’t resist it? It’s such a deliciously scented soap and body wash!

Needless to say as a fan of the fragrance I was happy about the launch of a shampoo bar! Don’t get me wrong you can totally multitask and use It’s Raining Men on your hair but sadly it makes my hair like stray! So a shampoo formulated for strictly for hair that smells like it? All hands on deck here!

Lush Honey I Washed My Hair Shampoo Bar is created to soften and add to shine to hair. It’s a toffee scented bar with hints of honey! It smells delicious, like a soft, creamy bite of caramel to me! I’ve always been a fan of Honey I Washed the Kids Soap and I’m sure happy to have a shampoo bar scented just like it. The fragrance lingers quite long which makes me a happy girl indeed.

I actually used this and only this, no conditioner, for several days and it really did a nice job cleansing my hair and making it soft. My hair is drier with some frizz and it worked a treat without conditioner. Not that I’d give or forgo conditioner daily but I wanted to try it without conditioner to see the results. My hair is super long and it wasn’t tangled up all after use in the least! I didn’t experience build up issues either which was a plus.

If you never used a shampoo bar it’s pretty handy especially if you travel a lot. It’s basically a puck shaped bar which you can wet and swipe across your head a few times. Work into a lather with your hands and rinse! Pretty nifty and one shampoo bar lasts for literally ages, far longer than a bottle of your favorite shampoo would!

Unfortunately, this does contain SLS so if you’re avoiding it this might not be a good pick for you!

All in all I’m a happy girl! Love how this smells, love that it has a lasting scented, and love how it cleanses.

      I actually didn’t bother isn’t that horrible? I was kinda lushed out! haha! I really like the brightening brush and the brightening cleansers too! really nice brush head 🙂 Happy New year my dear!!!!!

    Hi! I saw this shampoo on the Lush website the day it came out in the US. I smelled it in the store and it smelled AMAZING! I didn’t buy it because I couldn’t find any reviews yet. My hair is very long and a tad dry in the winter too. I was a bit worried about trying it because I was disappointed with the last solid shampoo I used from Lush, Trichomania. It smells soo good but it dried my hair out and made it tangled. I’m glad I stumbled upon your review cause now I’m feeling more confident about purchasing Honey I Washed My Hair. I love Lush and what they stand for, but their products are hit or miss, you know? Anyway thanks so much for the review and if you haven’t tried R&B Hair Moisturizer yet I’d highly recommend it. It’s my hair HG. 🙂
