Ulta Demi Matte Foundation

The demi matte rage and trend continues with a new Ulta Demi Matte Foundation for Spring 2015! We’re seeing a lot of demi-matte foundation products at the moment for Spring including one from L’Oreal and also Urban Decay’s new Naked Skin Ultra Definition Powder Foundation.

Let’s take a look at Ulta’s version!

Ulta Demi Matte Foundation ($12.50) is available in eight shade selections and has a lightweight cream gel formula that applies with a demi-matte finish that absorbs oil. Light diffusing pigments help diminish the appearance of finer lines while an SPF 20 protects skin.

The formula is oil and fragrance free!

So far, even though I’m drier, I’m liking the light velvety demi-matte finish! I might just check Ulta’s version!

You can get it now at Ulta and Ulta.com.

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. Hmmm, sounds like it might come out of the tube creamy enough for my tastes. I can never get liquids to go on quite right, I want thicker formulas I can buff out, generally.

I tend to favor matte setting powder, so it’ll be interesting to see how a finish like this would work on me. If this comes in a shade that’ll work for me, I’ll probably check it out–especially since it’s pretty easy to get Ulta’s inhouse brand cheaper with one deal or another.

Yep, matte all the way! I have oily skin so I rrrreally don’t need extra shine.
