Ulta Nude Lipstick Collection

The new Ulta Nude Lipstick Collection for Spring 2015 has caught my eye as I’m all about nude, natural lip colors lately. Interesting to see Ulta doing a collection just of nude lippies isn’t it?

Take a look!

Available in eight shades selections the new Ulta Nude Lipstick Collection has the perfect wearable nude for a range of different skin tons.

Shades include:

  • Rosey Glow
  • Flushed Pink
  • Simply Natural
  • Buff
  • Touch Of Pink
  • Suntanned
  • Sweet Mocha
  • Bronzed Beauty

Many of the shades look super unwearable in the promo images but I notice that Ulta’s promo images aren’t terribly flattering in most cases so I’m quite interested in checking this out in person for myself!

Possibly the best part about these is they are available at buy 2, get 2 Free plus you can grab an extra 20% off your total online using promo code 208646 so you can get all eight shades for $30 or so. Not too bad a deal!

I’m hoping some of the dark shades are deeper than they appear in the images Ulta has on their site!

What nude lipstick shades are you favoring for Spring?

The Ulta Nude Lipstick Collection is available now at Ulta and Ulta.com.

P.S. How bad was the ending for American Horror Story: Freak Show? Le sigh! But don’t they always build and build and build and end with a really anti-climatic ending in every single series? Le sigh.

Highlight was definitely Jessica Lange playing at being Bowie. Although Bowie looked better in that bright shade of aquatic blue eyeshadow…just sayin’!

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. Hi Muse! I’m glad you reminded me that Ulta’s promo images are not so great. I was looking at the third lippie on the top row and thinking how dead it would make me look. I bet it’s a lovely, peachy champagne shade in real life.

Ah, AHS. The ending was better than Coven, anyway. I liked the tie-ins to Asylum, and was happy to see poor Twisty again. I think Elsa got off too easy, though.

yeah, ulta’s promo images are bad bad bad bad…! I’m looking at these shades thinking ZOMBIE LIPS but they are probably pretty and wearable. Damn shame I can’t get a feel for them with these images. I think Elsa got off way easy!!!!!!!!! she was horrible and she gets to live happily ever after in her own sort of heaven? well that sucks haha. Poor Twisty deserved that! I liked the tie-ins just wish they went further with them, now it’s just a bunch of questions and internet speculations. Coven was probably the best ending with the horror house being crappy, freak show also being crappy, and asylum being crappy for me anyway. They build, build, and build and there is never any climax with finales. I hate that!

My nude lips were all over the scene in the 90s..it’s great to see this look coming back!

…..hmmmmm. I’m gonna have to look for swatches of these. They look too light even for my pale ass skin.

Will need to swatch in store. 99% of nude lipsticks seem to make me look sick, weird, or zombie-like.
