About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. Looking forward to switching the berry and coral cheek palettes! These are perfect for me because they’re in separate pans and there’s no bronzer. Excited 🙂

I received the eyeshadow palette last night and was so disappointed. The darkest color broke and was all over the palette. I’ve read some reviews on the sephora website and I found out I wasn’t the only one with this issue. So I don’t know if it’s the packaging or the quality of the shadow. I do most of my sephora purchases online and this is the first time this happens. I was very excited for this palette since it looks gorgeous, now I’m just so disappointed.

I, too, ordered from Sephora. My palette was severely damaged. It does not appear to be a Bobbi issue as to quality. It was a handling and shipping issue, as my palette packaging was severely damaged and looked as though it had been chewed upon and thrown into a brick wall. The blush compacts were perfect, as were the lips that I received. I am getting the replacement from Neiman Marcus, where the handling is a tad kinder and gentler. Plus, if you get a good SA, there are all sorts of perks and goodies that Neiman Marcus has with Bobbi from time to time. While I live in AZ, my SAs are in Oak Brook, Illinois – Nancy and Michelle with the Bobbi counter (630.572.1500) are the best!

I’d gotten a Stila palette a couple months ago that had a shattered shadow. I’ve noticed that Sephora sometimes puts something delicate in the box then adds the packing/bubblewrap on TOP of it, so there’s no protection on the bottom or around it. I’ve gotten things like that from other places, too….they need to train the packers a little better when it’s something like eyeshadow or blush.

oh my goodnesssss, I can normally resist such high end brands and settle with less expensive substitutes, but these have me drooling….. ahh don’t think i can possibly resist that eyeshadow palette or the calypso cheek palette!!!

I would have chosen a different name for this line..they may be hot, especially the lip crayons, but theyre sure not nude!

I believe only the eye palette is called Hot Nudes. The collection itself is just Bobbi Brown Hot Collection.

I wonder if this is just being realeased to sephora first and then other retailers? I can’t imagine Bobbi not having this spring line at all venders eventually.

Love that Brown Calypso blush – it looks divine. Sad to hear so many had problems with the packaging and sending of their products. That is bad news if you have spent your hard earned money on it.

  • Aleena

Oh my this collection is absolutely amazing and worth buying.. thanks for sharing dear..xx

This is not exclusively at Sephora. It’s already available at Nordstrom, Saks as well.

Got an appointment at my local BB counter on Saturday to try these out – just in time to purchase for my holiday to Thailand next week!

Am fancying the Hot Pink cheek palette and the hot pink and orange art sticks Will try to resist the calyso cheek palette and the eye palette too. Will definitely get them to put the eye palette on though just to make sure 😉 I should really take some of my other eye and cheek palettes in a bag to compare and ensure I am not buying anything too similar to what I have!

let me know how it goes Lee-Anne! so far tried the art sticks and like ’em 😀

My mum treated me to the eye palette and guess what – it arrived with the dark colour slightly crumbled – but not too bad so kept and wore last night. Love the cement sparkle and peach sugar shimmer. Nice palette and am really glad to have it.

Was at local BB counter yesterday and tried the pink and calypso cheek palettes. Wanted to get pink for change from coral but the calypso was so nice on (with the hot orange art stick) so I got that. Plus all 3 art sticks! Love love love the 3 hot art sticks. Also got the Orange sheer lipstick which is lovely on as well.

So excited to take my new stash on holiday to Thailand this week!
