Maybelline Limited Edition Spring 2015 Color Tattoo Eyeshadows

Maybelline Color Tattoo Eyeshadow Spring 2015

Hibiscus Pink and Petunia Punk are two of three Maybelline Limited Edition Spring 2015 Color Tattoo Eyeshadows that are available now at drugstores in the new Maybelline Rebel Bloom Spring 2015 Collection.

Take a look!

I know many of you, like me, get quite excited when new shades of Maybelline Color Tattoo Eyeshaodw launches! This year, Maybelline went a bit pastel and frosty with two of the three new, limited edition shades that are launching in special Rebel Bloom Spring 2015 displays at drugstores.

I haven’t yet got my hands on the third shade as it appears there are two different displays currently circulating in stores….! But I was lucky enough to find both Hibiscus Pink and Petunia Punk!

I actually don’t look great in pastels like this but I couldn’t resist purchasing them and see what sort of looks I could create with them. The formula seems to be similar to the limited edition Summer shades from 2013 which is a thinner, slicker consistency. I actually disliked many of the Summer 2013 shades because of this formula as they feel and apply more like an eye gloss than a cream shadow! Hopefully these new shades perform better! We shall see as I’m testing them now.

The new Spring 2015 display also includes a matte blush stick, limited edition Rebel Bloom Lipstick shades, and Nail Show Polishes! More info on the collection is schedule for later tonight!

Hibiscus Pink MUST BE MINE!! Colors like that always make my brown eyes look amazing. Though I hope the formula isn’t too bad….

I like that Hibiscus Pink, too. I’m pretty likely to get at least that one. The Petunia Punk looks pretty whitish in the swatches, not really pink – at least not on my monitor. I’m definitely going to be keeping my eyes open for them! I love sheer shiny eye shadows in the warmer weather.

I never understand pink in eye shadows. They always look like that person’s eyelids have something wrong with them or an allergy or something. They look itchy. I guess I just don’t “get it.”

I do love those tattoo shadows and it’s hard to get them here. They are gone when they get put out (except for some awful colors) and never replenished for months. CVS store.

I do have a few but the one all the women who work in Nordstroms always asks me about it Adacious Ashphault. Horribe name, no? Who knows if I spelled that one right.

Those inexpensive shadows never move on my face and I don’t even need a primer with them. Expensive ones never last on me.

I think these would be great under the naked 3 palette! I’ll probably get hibiscus heartbreak.

There are definitely more than 3 limited colors. Unless they changes the names, I found 3 at CVS tonight called: Hydrangea Hype, Rose Riot, and Black Orchid. Hydrangea Hype is a frosty true lilac, Rose Riot is a similar but lighter shade to the Inked in Pink from the permanent line, and Black Orchid (my fave) is a slightly rosy brown. Keep a look out for them! I haven’t seen them mentioned anywhere online.

I went to my local CVS tonight and found three new shades in the collection! I only bought two though. The shades I have are Black Orchid (#130) and Hydrangea Hype (#135). Exciting stuff!

  • Carmen

Yes, the Black Orchid is soooo gorgeous. Apparently Walgreen’s got the Petunia Punk, Hibiscus Heartbreak and Hydrangea Hype, while CVS got Black Orchid, Rose Riot and Hydrangea Hype. I bought a backup of Black Orchid – it’s that good.

There are actually 5 new shade.
    Hibiscus heartbreak
    Hydrangea hype
    Petunia punk
    Black orchid
    Rose Riot

I just got Hydrangea Hype and Rose Riot. I want the others!! I haven’t used them yet, but I will. Oh yes: I will.

Dearest Muse, I have been reading your reviews of Color Tattoo various shades and find them pretty consistent with my findings. Do you happen to have a full set of swatches on a previous or upcoming review? It would be really handy to be able to compare them all. Here in Nz the main stores carry only about 8 of them but various online sellers have random others and I’d like to compare shades before I shell out.
    Thanks, Sophia

Hi Sophia! I think I have all the shades (maybe missing one or two) reviewed and swatched on a variety of posts. Use the search box and just search color tattoo and the posts should come up for you! I don’t have on post with all of them though sorry 🙁
