NYX Define & Refine Powder Foundation Launches

NYX Define & Refine Powder Foundation

NYX Spring 2015 is shaping up nicely! Also included with the launch of Spring is the new NYX Define & Refine Powder Foundation ($12) in six shades!

Let’s take a look!

NYX Define & Refine Powder Foundation is a medium to full coverage powder foundation that includes a base and a deeper shade in the same tone that allows you to customize your tone for any time of the year.

Apparently the shades can be combined to to create a glowing finish. The deeper shade (located at the top of the powder and shaped like a crescent) has a hint of pearl to add radiance. The colors can be combined or used individually to create a customized look.

It sounds interesting but slightly confusing.

I guess its a seasonal foundation of sorts as in the Winter our skins are a bit lighter because we aren’t out as much where as in the Summer our complexions are darker. So I guess this is where the customization comes into play.

Shades:

  • Fair
  • Light
  • Golden
  • Beige
  • Sand
  • Deep

Count me curious!

The new NYX Define & Refine Powder Foundation is available now at www.nyxcosmetics.com.

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. Living in Florida and being super- obsessive about sunscreen, I never seem to need to change my foundation shade to suit the season so this product wouldn’t draw me in. Now, if that was a true contour color, we’d be talking about a horse of a different color!

I am loving the NYX brand (thanks to Phyrra!) at the moment, so I am going to check this out. It may well be too dark for me too.
