Bobbi Brown Intensive Skin Serum Foundation

Much to my excitement the new Bobbi Brown Intensive Skin Serum Foundation SPF 40 has launched online. The fluid foundation trend didn’t quite die down but it did slow down a little however, come Summer I think we’ll see a lot of brands launching new lightweight fluids.

This one from Bobbi Brown is interesting as it does combine foundation with the benefits of a skincare with sun protection.

Take a look!

Bobbi Brown Intensive Skin Serum Foundation SPF 40 is marketed for normal to dry skin times with a formula that’s rich in lychee, bamboo grass and cordyceps mushroom extracts to give skin a younger more smooth appearance. The emulsion formula has a natural, seamless finish with a texture that blends and absorbs easily into skin with ultrafine pigments that covers imperfections.

The serum acts to lift skin and give it a more brighter appearance. The dropper stye bottle allows for ease of use.

I’m excited about this one but also a little worried since serum foundations can go either way for me. Either I love them and they look super natural or they are a bit too shiny and greasy!

We shall see!

At was at Nordstrom on Friday but didn’t see this yet on counter it is however, available now at Nordstrom.com.

Curious to try it?

Do share!

This looks like it has holy grail product potential for me…but someone else (a beauty blogger, perhaps?) needs to go first. 🙂

I just bought this at the mall yesterday and so far I am LOVING it! It isn’t super heavy coverage so my freckles still peek through, it blends in really well, the color actually works on me (I am pale, so this doesn’t happen often!), it feels nice on… I really have nothing but good things to say about this foundation! I am planning on wearing it every day for the next week or so to make sure it doesn’t have any bad reaction on my skin, but so far so good!

I really like the look of fluid foundations on my skin but the ones that I have tried so far (specifically Lancome Nude Miracle and Maybelline Dream Wonder Fluid Touch) always make my skin feel irritated. I am thinking it is because of the denatured alcohol that is in a lot of them? Maybe a serum one would work better though. I see it is discounted on Nordstrom’s website! Did not know they price=matched.

mmmm Brian I know what you mean! Not Dream Wonder but Nude Miracle made me itchy too! I never checked but do either have bismuth that could be the culprit! I DID indeed! Which is awesome 🙂 as much of their makeup is 10 to 20 off! love that 😀

i can’t wait to try this! aside from the shimmer bricks, i’ve always primarily used mac and drugstore products. but this looks amazing for summer!

my grandma always has problems finding her perfect foundation. this could work for her but she can’t stand fragrance. does anyone know if this has one?
