EcoTools Complexion Collection Correcting Concealer Brushs

The EcoTools Complexion Collection Correcting Concealer Brush ($4.99) is one of a few brushes I picked up from the new Ecotools Complexion Brush Collection for Spring 2015. I’m obsessed with airbrushing style concealer brushes such as the Pro Airbrush Concealer Brush #57 so of course, upon seeing the Eco Tools Correcting Concealer Brush I instantly wanted to give it a try.

And hey, for $4.99 who could blame me right?

EcoTools Correcting Concealer Makeup Brush

The EcoTools Correcting Concealer Brush comes housed in a cute little Spring pouch with a matching hand around the handle of the brush done up in a cute leafy floral aqua design! The brush has a sturdy bamboo handle and duo fiber bristles that are short and slightly dense that allow for buffing concealer into skin or under eyes.

The brush is marketed for not only for use under eyes but also on face. They actually have a larger brush in this collection that was created exclusively for eyes but this particular brush multitasks for both eye and skin concealing. I find the compact bristles are ideal for dabbing and blending concealer into skin in areas that might need it. I don’t technically use concealer on face but I tried it for this review and it does a beautiful job smooth, blending, and giving an airbrushed finish.

EcoTools Correcting Concealer Brush

Under my eyes, it’s ok. I wouldn’t forsake my Sephora #57 for it but it’s not bad. I find the bristles a little scratchy under my eyes so as I blend out it felt a little bit uncomfortable for me. It does still provide a beautiful smooth and well blended finish but the scratchiness was a bit of an issue for me.

EcoTools Complexion Collection Correcting Concealer Brush

All in all the EcoTools Complexion Collection Correcting Concealer Brush is a cute, effective, and very beauty budget friendly way to blend out concealer to a picture perfect finish. I’m a little iffy for use under eyes but all over your face it does a great job. As I mentioned above I’m not one for concealer on my face but you can double up and use this with foundation as well for a light, sheer, very natural airbrushed finish!

EcoTools Complexion Collection Correcting Concealer is a nice little pick up if you’re in need of a smaller buffing brush!

I almost bought the eye perfecting one at walmart the other day but I’m glad I didnt. My under eye area is way too sensitive for a brush that is even slightly scratchy. Thanks for the review!

I have last year’s model and I rarely use it. The bristles are stiff and it’s very scratchy and not suited well for undereye use. At least not my eyes. I wish it were softer and less firm and maybe even a wee bit larger too. This was my first and only EcoTools purchase. I am not willing to try with another. I like the updated look though as it’s curter than just plain wood.

i bought that concealer brush and the one marked for BB and CC creams. i kept the small concealer–only to use on spots, not under the eyes, and i do like it. but then i got the new real techniques concealer brush and i like that MUCH better. i returned the BB/CC brush because all it did was soak up my BB and CC cream all for itself and didn’t let it go! disappointing.
