Take a look!

Each limited edition Le Matchbox is personalized to include a selection of full-size Jouer products in shades that match and flatter the individuals skin tone and type. With box contents varying from quarter to quarter, Le Matchbox will contain an assortment of products including lip, face, cheek, eye and tools and selections are determined by responses to an online quiz customers complete when registering on jouercosmetics.com. Customers can sign-up for Le Matchbox beginning this March at a subscription price of $45, and will continue to receive their box each quarter through automatic replenishment. “I love the concept and convenience of beauty at your door, but the current marketplace doesnt offer the bespoke aspect that Le Matchbox will,” says Christina Zilber, Founder, Jouer Cosmetics. “Le Matchbox caters to todays savvy online consumer, and takes the mystery and guessing game out of makeup selection by offering consumers an uncomplicated way to enjoy the right formulas and shades for them. Our experts will curate the Jouer products we consider the best for their tone and type; consider it an on-demand, personal beauty advisor and who wouldnt love that?!”

Don’t you wish more of your favorite beauty brands did subscription based beauty boxes?

The Jouer Le Matchbox Subscription Box Service is available now at jouercosmetics.com.

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. I’m always apprehensive about beauty boxes that can contain pretty much any brand or product, but I definitely like the idea of getting a brand-specific box. Takes away some of the risk 🙂

Interesting! I’d love to see one from Urban Decay and maybe BE.

The price is still god awful high even though the box is brand specific. I haven’t been impressed by a beauty subscription sample box service.

I subscribe to Ipsy ($10.00) and Glossybox ($21.00) as well as the Walmart quarterly beauty box ($5 per quarter). I enjoy the variety I get, of course there have been dud products. But I have gotten a few HG’s that I wouldn’t have tried on my own. Alterna CC cream for hair, Ofra universal brow pencil, Mitchell and Peach Fine Radiance Face Oil, 12 Benefits Instant Healthy Hair Treatment and just recently Rimmel London Lash Accelerator mascara (got that one in my Spring Walmart box) I’m a mascara snob and would NEVER have bought the Rimmel on my own. For me I would love to try small sizes of the Jouer Cosmetics for a smaller price and then if I like them I could buy the full size. I know the price is reduced for the full sizes when you subscribe, but what good is a full size product at a discount if I don’t like it? So this would be a no go for me. I think you might have to be a fan of the product already for this to work. Just my opinion, you milage may vary! :0)

I’m *so* excited about this, I adore Jouer! Their matte moisture tint is simply amazing (even on my dry skin, imagine that), I use it even more than my old HG Chantecaille’s anti-smog tinted moisturizer. The luminizing one is great too, I’m just not a huge fan of the dewy look. I also happen to find it clever how all their products have the packaging that fits together to form your own palettes. I’ve tried several various products/tools and none have disappointed me yet, so I figured this would be a good intro into the whole beauty box subscription foray. I usually stay away for fear of being disappointed, but for a brand I love and full size products, I couldn’t resist lol.

I ordered..I’ve only tried a couple things and so I figure for this price-I’ll try a few things and then I can cancel if I hate it 🙂

Ordered because the first box looks good & well out together (there are spoilers online). Also like Jouer cosmetics, good quality & pigmented. One important thing to know, register for the site first, then order. I did the reverse, ordered without registering & my order didn’t go through & got an error message.
