Shiseido InteGrate Girls Kiss Jelly Lipgloss

Shiseido InteGrate Girls Kiss Jelly Lipgloss was released for Winter 2014 in 7 shade selections within Japan. These are marketed as a lipgloss that has a serum-like texture which contains moisturizing ingredients such as glycerin and hyaluronic acid.

I’m actually not a Integrate fan, it’s one of Shiseido sub brands out of Japan that I like least of all. However, in recent years they have been introducing some really great products so I’m always looking out to see what they will introduce next.

When the Girls Kiss Jelly Lipgloss launched I knew it would be an instant like for me! And I was right!

Shiseido InteGrate Girls Kiss Jelly

Shiseido InteGrate Girls Kiss Jelly comes housed in a tiny squeeze tube with a slanted tip applicator for application. Whenever I see glosses like this I think of some of my very first makeup experiences as tween and teen. I had so MANY squeeze tube glosses as a kid! And hell, I still do! I do prefer sponge applicator glosses in all honesty but sometimes the squeeze tubes sure are easy for travel and quickly touching up. The gloss packaging has a touch of cuteness as it has a heart shaped cap! Typical Japanese kawaii style packaging but also Integrate tends to have a heart theme that runs through a lot of their makeup products!

This formula is lovely of you like thicker glosses. The texture runs thick but has a plush look on lips that gives a pouty appearance when you wear them. I’d liken them to syrupy texture but not a terribly sticky or tacky one! They are lightweight and don’t feel sticky and gooey on lips. The formula has a glossy finish with a good deal of pigmentation and a highly moisturizing feel. The gloss wears surprisingly long at around four hours and remains true to color without fading, smearing, or migrating on my lips through this wear time. They keep my lips pleasantly moist during that wear as well! They have a slightly fruity floral flavor that’s quite subtle but worth a mention for those sensitive to fragrance in their lip products.

All in all these are a happy purchase for me and I’d happily buy more. They are nicely pigmented for a gloss, have a plush, shiny look on lips, and keep my drier lips quite nicely hydrated with a long wear.

What more could a girl want in a gloss?

Loves these!

I got mine directly from Japan but AlphabeautyUK on ebay.com sells them as well for around $12 each!

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. Ohh, nice! If I see them in Japan next month I’ll pick up a couple.

I hate sponge applicators. It always feels like they are smearing or soaking up my lipstick. I like brush applicators for gloss (can’t find many of those anymore) and the squeeze tips.

These glosses look great on you! I’m for trying them right now.
