Holika Holika Aqua Petit Jelly Starter

Benefit High Beam lover? You NEED Holika Holika Aqua Petit Jelly Starter. For serious!

There are actually so many reasons to get excited about Holika Holika Aqua Petit Jelly Starter but the main one is price and size. If you’re an avid user of Benefit High Beam you’ll likely setting back $26 for 0.45 oz of product. You can get Aqua Petit Jelly Starter for around $10 to $14 bucks and it weights in at 1.35 oz in size.

Sweet right?

And yes, it pretty much performs identical to Benefit High Beam! If anything it provides even more of a luminous, radiant finish on skin. Apparently this is created with 80% Aqua Mint Water…yeah, I don’t know what that means but aqua mint water sounds super important.

It comes housed in a jelly-mold like glass jar with an attached spatula for application. You can mix this with moisturizer, foundation, or use it on bare skin on its own either before or after foundation to add luminosity and radiance to skin.

It does have a very thick, creamy texture when compared to Benefit’s thinner consistency so keep in mind a little goes a very long way. This is a sheer, pink iridescent shade. I find it’s a little more “glow-y” compared to Benefit High Beam but the shades are very, very similar. I don’t really love cream highlighters but I love how this adds a very healthy radiance on my skin. I typically apply it after foundation (although you can use before) without mixing it with any other medium. A small dot on my upper cheek bone blended out produces a nice radiance that captures the light and adds a glow to my lackluster skin!

With Summer right around the corner this is a GREAT staple to have on hand. A little concealer, tinted moisture, a pinch of this, and a little cheek stain will give you a very natural, healthy look without over doing your makeup and keep things simple and heat friendly so your skin will look luminous and beautiful on a very warm day!

You have to love the larger size and the way cheaper price tag when you’re putting it up against Benefit’s High Beam! So if you’re an avid user of High Beam I’d HIGHLY recommend and suggest checking out Holika Holika Aqua Petit Jelly Starter! You’ll save a ton of money and you’ll get even more of a glow-y finish from this little cream highlighter!

You can grab it off ebay.com as many sellers have it a very reasonable price.

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. I found this in my memebox stash of stuff I haven’t used yet. I’ll have to break it out and give it a shot!

Thanks! This looks like it might be a dupe for Spotlight that Estee Lauder discontinued.
