Lancome Miracle Cushion Liquid Cushion Compact

Lancome Miracle Cushion Liquid Cushion Compact Foundation got a release in the UK recently and on April 29th you’ll be able to get your greedy little hands on it. This one takes a cue from Korean’s popular cushion makeup which I’m sure by now you’ve all you tried yourself be it from some Korean brand or from brands such as It Cosmetics, Mally Beauty, or Pur Minerals!

Let’s take a peek at the new Lancome Miracle Cushion Liquid Cushion Compact.

lancome miracle cushion

Lancome is a little late to the ballgame with this release as mid-range brands have covered cushion makeup and I have a feeling you’ll be seeing it at drugstores soon. It’s odd that a higher end brand like Lancome was so late to introduce a cushion makeup but none the less it’s still an exciting release.

As with most cushion makeup, Lancome markets this as a BB that acts as a foundation. It provides a sheer coverage for a fresh, dewy complexion and is enclosed in an air tight compact for travel. Apparently it provides a cool sensation when applied and hydrates skin while brightening it up. As of now Lancome will be offering it in 11 shade selections.

It sounds a lot like It Cosmetics CC+ Veil Beauty Fluid Foundation which I love.

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. I have this (ordered from Saks; it’s also available at Lord & Taylor) and I really like it– it really is lightweight, and leaves a soft velvet like finish that is sheer and skin like. I think they did a nice job with this!

  • Bea

We have it from several months right now in Spain and I thought this foundation was pioneering in its field!
I don’t like it very much…(ok, I love diorskin forever, double wear and that kind of stuff). It has sheer coverage, it remembers me of Chanel vitalumiΓ©re aqua, just for people with a perfect skin.

oh not at all many brands have them particularly Korean brands πŸ™‚ I think Lisa was inspired by her recent trip to Korea and thus this was born πŸ˜€ ahhhh! I see! I kinda like sheerer coverage so this might be good for me!

Almay did one about 10 years ago! I actually really liked it, and although it was designed to use with fingers, I found those disposable cosmetic wedges worked beautifully. The only downside to this packaging, besides having to use a sponge of sorts (as a personal preference!), is not being able to gauge how much is left, and having a backup on hand is advised, LOL!

Yep! I remember the Almay one! I tried one after it went on clearance. Liked it.

Has anyone tried this? Also korean cosmetics have wonderful whitening products and sunscreens.

Sign me up! Where’s the line?! I love the sound of “cool sensation” too. Anything that does that to my face. I’M THERE. it’s just the extra little kick in the morning I love/need. Really wakes me up! I suffer from resting sleep/bitch face til I slap something cool/tingly on, then I’m like oh hey, I love you world! πŸ˜€

Thanks for the link to the email alert! I can’t wait to get my hands on this – after your review of course! πŸ˜‰

I’ve been wondering when we would see more of the cushion makeup, surprised it hasn’t popped up more. I really can’t wait to see if any drugstore brands take to this.

    Glad you’re feeling better!

  • Betty

Yay!! I’ve been wanting to try cushion compact for so long but I’m just too lazy to hit up ebay. I’m so glad western companies are taking a cue from the Korean beauty scene!

  • Christina

I love the IT Cosmetics one – so glad you did the review, I’d have probably never checked it out otherwise!

    • Isabella Muse

I do too Christina! πŸ™‚ it’s a great one! A little smaller for the price but lovely stuff glad you love it too πŸ˜€

This product really made me giggle. Passed a Lancome counter in my country and saw the little ad for it. Took like half a second before I was attacked by a Lancome sales lady who insisted it’s “the first of it’s kind!”.

I’m like, uh ok then, I just used my Laneige cushion this morning …

“I have never heard of that brand but I assure you –”

Nopenopenopenope. It sucks when they hire people for these kinds of positions who are so clueless and only know what their boss tells them. I don’t know how many times sales people have no idea what I am talking about. I often have to ask them to remover the price tag sticker on items for me because I can’t read the ingredient list otherwise.
