Pixi Full Cover Foundation Brush Review

Pixi Full Cover Foundation Brush1

Things I love at the moment, the new Pixi Beauty Full Cover Foundation Brush ($15)! I’m guilty of using fingers to apply my foundation and BB Creams.

I dunno why but I’ve always apply foundation with my fingers. I just feel like I have more control plus I like my foundation sheer and I feel like a brush really layers a lot of product on. I also don’t apply foundation all over my face so a brush seems pointless.

But sometimes a foundation brush passes through my life that makes me rethink my finger application method!

Pixi Full Cover Foundation Brush

Like the Pixi Beauty Full Cover Foundation Brush! I’m in love! So first off this is a great brush to use with the new Colourpop Super Shock Cheek Blushes! The short, dense bristles allow for easy blending of those blushes and also really sheer the product out for a nice natural flush!

And of course, the brush is just as great for foundation. It’s a smaller brush but the handle fits very nicely in my hand and gives my excellent control as I apply foundation (or blush). The bristles are short, dense, and very, very soft. I like how the shorter bristles fit the natural curves and contours of my face which allows me to buff color into my skin and sheer it out to a natural, smooth finish.

Pixi Beauty Makeup Brushes launched back in Spring 2014 and it’s nice to see them adding to that range.

If you’re looking for an inexpensive foundation brush I’d recommend a pick up of the Pixi Full Cover Foundation Brush! It’s a great little brush for buffing both foundation and cream blush into skin for a seamless, airbrushed finish!

Do like!

nope I meant Spring 2014, that’s when the original brushes launched back in 2014. I was saying it was nice they added to the range and that the original collection was launched in 2014. Hope this makes sense! “Pixi Beauty Makeup Brush Review for Spring 2014 and it’s nice to see them adding to that range of brushes”! Thank you! Appreciate that greatly Kim so glad you enjoy Musings of a Muse!

$15 is too expensive for me, so maybe for a holiday… Regardless, nice to see that there’s a good foundation brush out there that rivals the finger method! I think I’ll stick to my own brushes and fingers, though haha.

Love the look of this brush! I’ve been using the Mac 159 for foundation and am looking for something with more compact bristles to give a little bit more full coverage. This looks like it may be worth a try! Look out target 🙂
