Touch In Sol Feel Like Honey Moon Skin Base

Korean beauty and makeup continues to dominate the western market at the moment with the launch of Touch in Sol at Sephora. I have a very few odd pieces from Touch in Sol that I’ve never actually reviewed on Musings of a Muse as it’s one of the few K-brands I don’t follow!

None the less I thought it deserved note how the Touch in Sol Feel Like Honey Moon Skin Base looks SO much like the new NYX Honey Dew Me Primer right?

Touch In Sol Feel Like Honey Moon Skin Base ($24) is a skin primer that contains honey with a collage based that can be used to increase moisture while firming skin and creating a smooth, soft base for makeup. Honey, collage, and vitamins give the skin a firmer appearance while minimizing the look of fine lines and wrinkles plus hyaluronic acid ensures skin retains moisture.

I love Honey Dew Me but it does contain alcohol. I haven’t yet tried Touch in Sol’s Feel Like Honey Moon Skin Base but if it lacks alcohol I’d happily switch as it’s only a few dollars more than NYX’s formula!

I thought it interesting the two products were so similar!

You can shop Touch in Sol now at Sephora and Sephora.com.

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. I see it on Sephora, and 3rd ingredient is alcohol, which is a no-no for my face 🙁

oh I didn’t even notice ingreds were listed! thanks! I’m a little out of it. Well, so much for it being an improvement on NYX’s formula!

I’m out on both of them. Gold is seen as luxurious but the element itself causes sensitizing reactions and can be toxic to some. It just doesn’t make scientific sense in skincare. I’d rather have a formula without it, or with a mica shimmer instead.

Touch in Sol came way before NYX. The first time I heard about Touch in Sol was when Glossybox sent it out back in 2012.
