Gorilla Perfumes Volume 3 Collection

Gorilla Perfumes Volume 3 Collection

Gorilla perfume fan? Well, Lush has listed 7 new Gorilla fragrances in a new permanent collection.

Lush has always dabbled in perfume particularly with their other company (that unfortunately closed shopped), B Never. Around 2009-2010 Lush introduced their new line of fragrances titled simply Gorilla. The Gorilla line included several new fragrances and later on Lush rebranded old favorites like Karma and included them in the Gorilla Collection. Soon, much to my delight, they started to also include B Never fragrances in the Gorilla permanent collection (although I still have hopes at some point they will bring back B Never’s Keep it Fluffy perfume!).

Gorilla is exciting for me because I truly believe Lush knows how to create incredible fragrances. Simon, son of Mark Constantine, one of Lush’s co-founders, is responsible for some of the greatest Lush perfumes I own (and likely the creator of the fragrances of some of your favorite bath products too!). Like his dad, he has an incredible nose for fragrance and creates some truly unique scents.

If you’re a lover of niche fragrances I’m sure you’ll be as excited as I am about these new fragrances.

Take a look!

Gorilla Kerbside Violet
Inspired by flowers that grow within the city (ever have a moment where you’re talking around a huge city and randomly you’ll find a flower sprouting out from the cracks of concrete? It’s kinda a tiny miracle!) this fragrance is all about sweet violet mixes with notes of jasmine, rose, and ylang ylang.

Gorilla Death and Decay
Perhaps a little bit of a morbid name yes? This fragrance is all about top notes of lilies in all their pungent, narcotic headiness with notes of tonka, jasmine, and ylang ylang.

Gorilla Dad’s Garden chamomile and Honeysuckle
A green perfume with soothing notes of orange flower combined chamomile, lavender, and a touch of honeysuckle!

Gorilla Princess Cottongrass
A sweet, delicate floral with notes of violet, neroli, and lemon!

Gorilla Stayin’ Alive
A colorful blend of vetivert and vanilla mixed with sandalwood make for a spicy fragrance!

Gorilla The President’s Hat
For those who like a deeper fragrance this one takes notes of oakmoss, patchouli and vanilla to create a warm, inviting fragrance.

Gorilla All Good Things
What Lush calls rich, sensual, smokey, bitter, and sweet! A complex mixture of candyfloss and black pepper!

The Gorilla Perfumes Volume 3 Collection is available now on Lush UK’s website at www.lush.co.uk and I HOPE we too will see these fragrances in the US. If we don’t? No worries, Lush UK ships to the US!

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. If you’re that person feel free to reach out and leave a comment or follow me on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and Bloglovin‘.

Top scientists need to develop a way to transmit smells over the internet! I want to sniff each and every one of these!

I’m patiently waiting for them to bottle the sakura/rub rub scent…hurry up lush!!! That said these scents sound fun!

Oh they did one already! Forum fragrance few years ago 🙂

I love, love, love death and decay. Hate the pricetag though. It was released a while ago over here.

I was in London and managed to go to the Oxford Street shop 3 times as well as the Gorilla Perfume shop. I was super excited to smell these new perfumes but it felt like something was off with each one (but don’t mind me, Superworld Unknown smells like plastic on me).

That said, I still walked away with 1000 Kisses Deep perfume, the Dear John body spray, and Uptown Funk body spray (which is priced like a perfume but is just super amazing!).

They had 1000 Kisses Deep in stores!? I’m amazed! So sad it was discontinued! What does Uptown Funk smell like!? I can’t visualize it even after hearing the notes. 🙂
