MAC Domestic Diva Lipglass

MAC Domestic Diva Lipglass ($17.50) is one of four limited edition lipglosses that launched with the MAC Wash & Dry Summer 2015 Collection.

If you’re a pink lipgloss fan I’m such Domestic Diva will be appealing!

I typical $17.50 right now and thought to myself, “Wow, remember when Lipglass was $14?” Am I old or did MAC prices just dramatically change overnight?

None the less it’s still one of the longest wearing lipglosses around. I used to hate it with a passion because it was so sticky and tacky but really that stickiness works to your advantage because I can get a solid four hours (sometimes more) from MAC’s formula without the need to touch up! So props to MAC for always have a consistently long wearing gloss formula.

MAC Domestic Diva Lipglass Swatches

MAC Domestic Diva Lipglass is a medium pink (bit of rosiness here) with bluish and silver shimmer. It’s sheer at first but it actually builds fairly well on lips and gives a pretty pop of pink! It applies very smooth and even with a good deal of stickiness and tack that allows it to wear for a solid four to five hours on my lips.

Sometimes limited edition MAC Lipglasses reach out and grab me to a point that I need to buy a back up but I didn’t feel like Domestic Diva was anything special. Maybe because when Summer rolls around I’m all about peaches, corals, and oranges! Pink just doesn’t seem the color of the season for me….!

MAC Domestic Diva Lipglass might prove a hit for fans of pink gloss but as for me I didn’t really feel it was too unique a shade.

I agree, it’s pretty, but not a must have. I feel like I’ve seen this color a million times at drugstore prices.
