Korres Wild Rose CC Cream

I feel like Korres, a favorite brand of mine a few years ago, fell off my beauty radar! I dunno what happened but I stopped following Korres for a little bit but releases like the new Korres Wild Rose CC Cream ($46 Ouch!) does bring the brand back into my atmosphere because, you know, I’m a CC Cream junkie!

Korres Wild Rose CC Cream is a new lightweight CC Cream available in two shade selections enriched with Vitamin C that minimizes the appearance of fine lines while brightening up your complexion and providing protection from the sun with a built in SPF 30.

Korres has always had excellent foundation shades that fit my skin tone perfectly so I have a feeling that I’ll fit into one of these two shades perfectly. I WAS however, a little shocked at the $46 price as Korres typically has fair mid-range prices and $46 does tip things into the higher end price range hmmm!

But hey, if it’s good I don’t mind splurging as foundation is a splurge item for me.

What do you think?

Worth a try?

Korres Wild Rose CC Cream is available now at ASOS.com.

P.S. When did Martin Starr get so cute because he’s kinda looking foxy as Gilfoyle in Silicon Valley but really, his master work was done in Freaks and Geeks, I can never forget Bill’s love of Dallas!

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. Korres is one of those brands I’m willing to pay a bit more for, as they don’t use cheap, “filler” ingredients, and was actually developed by skincare experts. The fact it’s a Greek brand doesn’t hurt either, LOL! I have a “typical” Mediterranean skintone, so I’m *hoping* one of these shades will work for me…

I don’t mind either because their quality is amazing but $46 isn’t typically their price range! 🙂 I hope it works for you too!

That is so expensive…. I have to say that korres might be the only thing that you can buy cheaper in Greece ( cc is sold in pharmacies for 15 €)…. All the other beauty products are like buying gold… Haven’t tried it but read mixed reviews in Greek blogs mainly regarding how much it stays on.. If you ever come across with another Greek brand called Frezyderm ( or you have someone travelling to Greece) I would suggest an amazing tinted sunscreen called Frezyderm sun screen color velvet spf 50… It is so good… :)regards from a Greek who chases the sun in cloudy and wet Scotland…:)By the way korres just launched in Greece some new eau de toilette..my sister says they are awesome… Hope they don’t get a year to launch in USA….

OH no don’t tell me that! Korres hasn’t released a fragrance in ages and the ones they did have (few years ago) were amazing! Now I want 🙂 thanks for the suggestion on Frezyderm, will have to see if I can track it down 😀

Dude Gilfoyle is one of my favorite chracters in Silicon Valley! And Korres has one of my favorite body butters, so I expect great things from their CC cream. I just wish their makeup was still at Sephora so I could try it in person. Have you seen Korres at any brick & mortar stores lately?

    • Isabella Muse

MINE TOO! I love his snark! It cracks me up! Not at stores no but online yes. Been a while since I seen it in stores…! I used to be such an avid follower of the brand but for some reason it fell off my radar!
