Bath & Body Works Eucalyptus Spearmint Fragrance Mist

Much to my delight Bath & Body Works Eucalyptus Spearmint Fragrance Mist has arrived at my local store. Eucalyptus Spearmint Fragrance Mist is one of three new scents that were candle scents but are now available in a line of bath and body products.

Bath & Body Works Eucalyptus Spearmint has had it’s fair run across the board being available as a candle, lipgloss, in a range of C.O. Bigelow products, and even available in the Stress Relief Aromatherapy products so it isn’t necessarily “new” to the bath and body scene. It does however, get a small bit of attention recently as Bath & Body Works repromoted it in a new range of products including a fragrance mist.

Along with Mahogany Teakwood I’d say Eucalyptus Spearmint is most definitely one of my favorite scents from Bath & Body Works. One would think eucalyptus would be an intrusive note! I know I think of my dear old mom and Vicks whenever eucalyptus comes into play. That woman thinks Vicks is the cure all for everything!

But this isn’t only eucalyptus! Bath & Body Works combines it with fresh spearmint and a mix of herb and floral notes which give this a nice masculine edge. It’s a funny thing as I love fruity sweet fragrances. The sweeter the better for me! But something else I adore are notes which give the fragrances a unisex kinda feel. Eucalyptus Spearmint is the type of fragrance that will smell gorgeous on either a man or a woman. To be it’s like a hard hug from a boyfriend or a husband that’s wear something gorgeous cologne. You ever getting one of those hugs from your boyfriend and his scent just lingers on your clothes, in your hair….that’s kinda the feel of Eucalyptus Spearmint!

Along with eucalyptus and spearmint this has subtle touches of jasmine, sage, and an warm musk. It’s mint, masculine, and very dare I say sexy?

Unfortunately, like many Bath & Body Works Fragrance Mist it fades fast on me even with layering. The fragrance is just so very weak and I can only get about an hour’s worth of wear from it before it fades into the great big abyss. I can literally pour a bottle over my head and it likely wouldn’t me through the day. Sigh. Bath & Body Works reformulated their fragrance mists a few years ago but unfortunately they still haven’t yet gotten it right in my humblest! Perhaps one day they’ll launch Eucalyptus Spearmint in a perfume format that’s a bit stronger and wears a little longer.

For now, I’ll love all of the Eucalyptus Spearmint Fragrance Mist despite its flaws.

Bath & Body Works Eucalyptus Spearmint Fragrance Mist is available in stores now or at bathandbodyworks.com.

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. I love anything in this flavor, I have to smell this! Have you drawn for your giveaway yet?

    • Isabella Muse

Nope, not yet. I’m just getting to comments, posting new posts, and cleaning up other stuff. Sorry for the delay been swamped. It’ll be chosen shortly and I’ll post the winner on the giveaway page as well as tweet it and facebook it as soon as I have the winner.

Can you tell us the what will be in the giveaway exactly? Once the winner is chosen that is? Does everybody have a fair chance, or is it the person who posts the most about it, that has a better chance of winning?

I don’t have an exact list of items in the giveaway, it’s a surprise package that I’ll be putting together which is $200 or over in value filled with a variety of brands and products. The last winner I choose for the $500 giveaway got a variety of mac makeup, a sephora bow holiday 2014 palette, a selection of skincare, bobbi brown items, etc…I don’t really have a list of every single item that was included in her box but she was quite happy with what she got when she texted me that she got her box so it’s def a nice variety of products. The winner was chosen, check the giveaway post and I also tweeted her name and facebooked it (her name is Krista and she’s located in New York. She replied today with her information so I can send out her box). It’s a fair chance for everyone as I use a widget which randomly selects a winner. It has nothing to do with posting more, the entire process is randomized by the widget (rafflecopter). If you use each of the entries on the widget you’ll have a total of eight or nine entries which gives you a better chance of winning but it is randomized so I’m not personally selecting the winner, the widget does it for me. Hope this helps!
