The liners seem intriguing, but everything else just kind of seems like old news. The market is already saturated with contouring palettes (some of which are less expensive and perform much better) and the eye palettes themselves seem a little underwhelming. As much as I adore matte shadow palettes this one looks entirely too dupe-able. Heck, even the metals palette looks dupe-able by LORAC’s own Pro Palettes!

I guess only time will tell how awesome or disappointing this launch will be.

Would you know if the matte and metal shadows are new or re-releases? They all look very familiar in color and name to me.

      • Kate LORAC PR

        Hi Christina and Isabella,

The shades in the PRO Matte and PRO Metal Palettes are ALL brand new!

  • Tracy

I have to agree with the above poster when it comes to been there done that kind of feeling. I’m waiting for a brand to come out with something that doesn’t exist in about 20 other lines. Don’t get me wrong I love Lorac and I love makeup but nothing has really wowed me lately.

  • Alexa

I’m actually a huge fan of the Metal palette even though it’s nothing new. Some of the colors just really stick out to me.

    • JoElla

Me too Alexa. It almost looks like all of the colors I wanted in PRO 2

  • Leah

I absolutely adore my Lorac makeup, so I will definitely be getting most of these. They never fail to impress me!

  • Natalye

the metal palette looks really nice, I can’t wait to see swatches!

  • Jenny H.

Ha, the other day I was just wondering if Lorac would release an all-matte palette! If the shadows wind up as high-quality as Lorac’s usually are, I’ll probably pick it up.

  • Genevieve

Love that Pro Metals palette – some really gorgeous colours there. And I think the eye pencils look intriguing too. Cannot wait for the reviews.

  • Christina D.

Thank you for confirming that both the Matte and Metal palettes are all new shades. Now I’ll have to buy both! If there is an official release date, please post it.

    • Kate LORAC PR

      Hi Christina,

The PRO Metal officially releases on Ulta.com on June 14th and in Ulta stores around June 28th! It is an Ulta exclusive and Limited Edition. The PRO Matte Palette will launch at all retailers (Ulta, Kohl’s, Nordstrom.com, Amazon.com, etc.) between July 5th and 11th and is an in-line palette. 🙂

  • Joyce

To be honest all the palettes underwhelmed me, except for the Metal palette. Unfortunately, metal shades do not do my 50+ eyelids any favors, so I’ll be passing on it as well. I wish they could have released a matte version of the metal palette. That I would buy! I love bright colors, but it seems that when it comes to matte palettes they are always neutral colors.

  • Amy

I really want to get the pro matte palette, but if it is ulta exclusive, and LE, how is anyone outside of america supposed to get it?? does anyone know a way around this? I have been searching like crazy for it!!
