Mizon Hyaluronic Acid

Makeup is great but good skincare is better! Mizon Hyaluronic Acid 100 is a product that you should add to your skincare routine because it has a host of great ingredients but also because it embrace’s the idea of targeting the root of problems versus covering up those issues with makeup. So instead of spending a ton of money on makeup to cover your problems you should be spending money on skincare so you won’t need a ton of makeup to cover your woes.

Mizon Hyaluronic Acid 100 can be used across the board on any skin type but especially those in need of extra moisture. This little serum is packed with hyaluronic acid, the holy grail of moisture. It’s a excellent humectant so it’s not only adding moisture to your skin it’s actually sealing it in! So you’ll experience longer lasting hydration with a few drops of this added to your night time routine!

Mizon Hyaluronic Acid 100

Mizon Hyaluronic Acid 100 comes housed in a small bottle with a dropper for application. I typically reserve using it as part of my night time routine but it is light enough should you wish to use it in the day. It’s a watery texture that absorbs easily into skin but does have a little bit of a tacky feel for several seconds before it sets. It softens skin dramatically but most importantly it helps skin to retain moisture so skin will look smoother, softer, and more youthful.

It contains a host of ingredients including over 50% Hyaluronic acid 50% as well as Caffeoyl Tripeptide-1, and Ceramide 3.

Typically after I come home at the end of the night I remove my makeup and proceed to mist my damp face with my favorite facial mist. After that I’ll either apply a facial sheet mask or if I’m not doing a mask that night I’ll just follow up with my skincare. As the first step of my skincare I take a few drops of Mizon Hyaluronic Acid 100 and gently tap it onto my face. I’ll also place the palms of my hands over my cheeks, forehead, and chin to allow the product to absorb more fully. It some ways the tackiness reminds me of Hada Labo Tokyo Replenishing Hydrator or Hada Labo Super Hyaluronic Acid. Now I follow up with the rest of my skincare products…!

Results are pretty much within seconds of application. Skin feels smoother and softer at the first application but really over time you’ll notice your duller skin appears brighter and plumper so it does have excellent long term results.

All in all Mizon Hyaluronic Acid 100 is a product everyone should include in their skincare line up. It’s gentle, fragrance-free, and delivers plenty of replenishing moisture to skin without making it shiny, greasy, or oily!

I currently use the indeed labs Hydraluron but this looks interesting as well. I may have to check this out to do a comparison. My motto has always been skincare=less makeup=more sleep in the AM. Love my skincare.

LIVE BY it Tracy! skincare makes all the difference so you don’t need as much makeup 🙂

Sounds like a winner; I’m going to have to check this out!

    Hi Muse!

Thanks for the rec to try this instead of the Yadah one I was looking for. This sounds really good, and I love Mizon stuff.

Do you think my family would mind if I relocated to Korea for the skincare??? 😉

This looks great. Wonder how it compares to the Paula’s Choice Hyaluronic Booster Oil?

I use Hada Labo hydrator right now, and have been for quite some time. I can definitely tell the difference within a week of not using it. Is this product better or about the same? I like to change it up every now and then 🙂

I’ve always wanted to try a product with hyaluronic acid before but just wasn’t sure which one to choose. I’m definitely going to look into this one and see if I can get one myself

Oh this looks interesting. Do you like the Mizon or Hada Labo Replenishing Hydrator more?

Hey sweetie, thanks for the detailed review. I just received my bottle today & tried it for the first time as part of my night time routine. I couldn’t agree with you more. It’s really light and absorbs fast, so you don’t end up sticking to your pillow and it gives my face that soft and hydrated effect. My first impression is definitely very positive. Is there any other Mizon dropper bottle goodness that you’d recommend trying next? I’m working on my hydration level and some brightening atm.
    xo, Luchessa.

Hi! Yay glad to hear you loved it ;-D Placenta 45 is excellent for hydration as well! Gives plush, soft skin! Not a dropper but Snow white cream is good for brightening! as well as 24 milk whipping cream which also acts to whiten/brighten 😀
