elf concealer brush

My favorite makeup brush only costs $3 bucks! Well, correction, my favorite concealer brush only costs $3 bucks. Yeah, that sounds much better. The thing is when it comes to concealers I feel like I have a lot more control applying it with my fingers. That would be the case for foundation as well! I’ve just always found foundation and concealer brushes impractical and pointless for application personally.

That is until I met this brush!

Now you’ve heard me rave the E.L.F. Studio Concealer Brush before I’m sure. I’ve recommended to just about everyone and their mom who uses It Bye Bye Concealer. There really isn’t a lot going on with this brush. It’s simple, to the point, and lacks bells and whistles and that would be why I like it. This is just a really basic flat bristled brush, kinda unassuming like Clark Kent to be honest! But for some reason it works great!

Typically I use it like a paint brush…yeah, I know, I’m so glam! But it really does a good swiping concealer under my eyes and the bristles are small enough that they fit comfortably under the contours of my eyes. I like the way I can easily swipe concealer on and I also like the way it sheers heavier more emollient concealers, like Bye Bye Concealer, out and thins them which makes them easier to pat into place with my ring fingers. It’s honestly a brush I can’t do without and each time I do an E.L.F. order I end up getting three of them because I fear that E.L.F. will discontinue one day and well, what would I do without it!?

Even if you’re like me and think concealer brushes are pointless, I’d highly suggest checking this one out as it really will change your mind.

And of course, it doesn’t hurt it only costs three bucks!

I do wish elf did not discontinue their mineral brush line. I love the fluff powder brush they used to make … for a mere $5.
